Better than I thought. OK, so when I told my hubby that I was buying something from the Kathy Ireland collection, he laughed and asked if a bikini came with it. haha. I was super skeptical at first too, but seriously omg, I was super surprised at how well made this item is. I have ZERO idea what a previous person said about the item has a paper veneer. I didn't see that at all. It is not true white or ivory, more of like a "white wash" or Shabby chic kind of color to it. It has a locking mechanism that you can't open both drawers at the same time. but that's OK by me. It seems very sturdy and will last a while. This came from amazon in two large packages,and it was pretty heavy to lift.I wanted a piece of furniture for my home/office and this totally fit the bill. While I might've gotten a file cabinet made out of metal cheaper, this looks pretty stylish. My hubby put it together in about 2 hours. All the pieces fit well together and there was not additional drilling of holes or jimmin-ying something to make it fit.The hanging files inside the cabinet can be adjusted to between letter an legal width. So that both inserts are legal or one legal and one letter.

I absolutely love this piece. I got the entire set and have outlined my office/hobby room and they give it the convinence of built ins with a very nice neutral custom look. The pieces are all sturdy and seem to be high quality. Assembly was not difficult thanks to very detailed instructions. The colors and style is also versatile and allows you to use for any color pallets or decorating theme in whatever room you put this in. It’s spacios and detailed and I’m really happy with it so far.

We have had this product for 2 1/2 years. Within a few months o& putting it together, the drawers fell off the runners. Each time we fix them, they fall off. This part is very poorly designed. The cabinet is beautiful, but it’s difficult to use when the drawers keep falling out of place.

This was heavy duty and a beautiful piece. Instructions could be a little better. Wish I made a video to post and help others. The stain on two of the feet were lighter than the other two and one was banged up a bit. I just put those in the back. Overall I definitely recommend it. Pay attention to which drawer you put in first. I don't remember now but it was important that one goes in first. There's a switch you need to move in the unit before you push the drawers in. Also note that the drawers are not the same. One is for the bottom only and the other for the top. Don't mix them up. :)

Price value about right. Unit is reasonably sturdy and attractive - dont expect quality of solid hardwood that would cost 3X the price. Easy to assemble even for one person. Videos on Youtube help if needed

Excellent file cabinet. The unit was assembled easily by myself. The only drawback was the cabinet didn't come assembled. The cabinet is well designed and very sturdy at a reasonable price.

I got this to go with the matching desk to this set. As with the desk, the top drawer on this filing cabinet is too close to the top so the tops of the filing folders hit the top causing the folders to push back, sometimes falling off the track. Disappointed about that. But I am using both drawers for other storage and using the bottom drawers on both the file cabinet and desk for my files.

the only thing oak about this desk is the top. the rest is particle board with laminate and the inside bottoms of the drawers are covered cardboard with plastic rails for hanging files. It is a solid piece of furniture and heavy. it is attractive and easily assembled (not assembled when arrived). the desk ships in two pieces and they split the tracking number so it is difficult to follow for the customer. The desk was shipped on time and in good condition upon arrival. thanks.
