Weatherproof and sturdy
This cat house is perfect...I assembled it in 10 minutes and it is the perfect size for my 2 feral cats. 1 large cat and I medium size...it will sit on my front porch and is weatherproof and sturdy. The heater is great and works very well. I would recommend this product to everyone...

Great Outside Winter House for 2
Bought 2 of these for the 2 stray outside cats who have adopted me!I didnt plug the warming pad in til it got below freezing as I placed each one in a large hard sided dog kennel carrier (for shipping), to protect the house and give them each a bit more room. I also covered each dog kennel with huge black trash bags leaving small entrance/exit in bottom corner to keep them cozy & private & of course out of the cold wintry weather. Since these houses are outside, I also put each one on a deck table about 30" off deck floor so they r safe from any "visitors". They LOVE their houses & occasionally even switch! These were a great buy, super nice quality & solved the problem for chilly kitties!!!

Cute, functional house
I bought this for my 8 pound, almost adult cat, and the size is perfect. Assembly is easy enough, after you get the zipped items together. One of the zippers was a bit of a challenge, but the other was easy. It seems sturdy enough, unless perhaps something very heavy is dropped on it, which ideally shouldn't happen anyway. The design, colors, flexible entries, and the heated pad contribute to a very cute, functional house. I wouldn't put it outside with continual exposure to the vagaries of the weather, especially with the electric pad in it; but, hey, the choice is there. In addition, the price is certainly reasonable for the product you get. I like it, though my cat is still not convinced. Then, again, he loves cardboard boxes. Anytime there's an Amazon delivery, he can't wait for me to empty the box. Go figure!UPDATE: As an experiment, I removed the electric pad, and folded and placed an old soft towel inside the house. Now, Coal is in there every day! No worries, a cat does march to his/her own drum. Maybe, I'll try the electric pad again in the Winter. LOL

Bought this for a feral cat that has been hanging around.
It was supposed to get brutally cold and I didn't have time to construct anything else.It was fairly easy to put together. Seems to be somewhat sturdy. The only thing I didn't like about the assembly was the doors are attached with velcro and this is one of the last items in the instructions. Unfortunately by this time it is almost impossible to line up, so you have to remove the end panels, install the doors and replace the end panels

Great product,
We’ve had another one of these cat houses from the same company before and we loved it. We kept our first one outside with our BIG cat and we just ordered a new one for our little Sphinx. The bed does not get overwhelmingly hot and is completely sealed of any cracks so that nothing can get in or out except for the cat. The directions were a little hard to follow for setting the little house up and the pieces of velcro at the top of the roof have to be riddled with every now and then but overall, a very good choice for a heated bed (especially for the money)

Ok, but with issues
A few months ago, I bought the green heated house by K&H. Love it, but when I went to order another after Christmas, I was trying to save a little money so I bought this red/black by Extreme products. I would like to compare the two. I will say, I returned it soon after it came, and ordered another one from K&H. Now I own two green ones from K&H. Iuse my heated houses inside because my cats are 12 & 14. They love the warmth. The red/black one is ok but was much harder to zip together. The zipper was not as well made. By the time I got it all zipped up, my hand joints were hurting. The house is sturdy, but not quite as substantial as the green one. The main reason I returned this house was the heating pad. It does not shut off. I plugged it in, DID NOT put a pillow or any weight on the pad. After about 25 min I slid my hand under the pad and the bottom of the house....which is material, was way to hot for my cats to lay on, in my opinion. So I surmised that if the bottom of the house could get that hot, how hot would the pad itself get, once the weight of my cat was on it. I feel the heating pad in the green house is a better value, also. I tried to save money, and had to return for the one I already knew was a very good house. Lessoned learned.

Only had one door cover. It seems of good quality.
This is a nice house for my car to stay warm outside. It was easy to put together and good quality. It only came with one door cover the other side is just open. I made another one out of a piece of clear plastic and sewed Velcro on the top to attach it for when it gets really cold. Mostly I just turn the open part away from the breeze do she will stay warmest. Wish it had of come with a 2nd for cover like my last one, but now every cat has a house for winter.

Provides a safe, warm shelter for small outdoor animals.
It took a while but the stray we take care of has his daily naps in it during the cooler weather now. It is quite small, but cozy. It works best if you line it with insulation, as it is not insulated well on the walls. I really like that it has 2 exits, which encourages use with scared, stray animals that always need an escape.
