In 2168, A.D. nine people board a lifepod and escape the fatal explosion aboard their interplanetary spaceship, only to learn that the explosion was sabotage and the saboteur is among them.Genre: Feature Film-Action/AdventureRating: UNRelease Date: 5-APR-2005Media Type: DVD Review: Fascinating little film - I admit, I only watched this movie originally because it had Adam Storke in it, but it's a wonderfully claustrophobic little story that takes a classic tale and puts a twist on it. The technology aids the plot, and in the end I fell for Q-Three more than anyone else. CCH Pounder delivers her usual sterling performance, Mr. Storke is the chameleon (heh) he always is, and I want to watch it again even though I know how it turns out. Good stuff. Review: Alfred Hitchcock's movie Lifeboat - but set in space. - It's basically a retelling of the classic Alfred Hitchcock movie, 'Lifeboat'. Only this version is set in outer space. Pretty good movie with a solid cast.

Fascinating little film

Alfred Hitchcock's movie Lifeboat - but set in space.
It's basically a retelling of the classic Alfred Hitchcock movie, 'Lifeboat'. Only this version is set in outer space. Pretty good movie with a solid cast.

Old but still interesting
Old made for TV sci-fi movie that I remembered from years ago. It won't win any awards for looking pretty, but the story line is interesting and its still a good watch.

Great service !
Came in good condition and excellent time. Very happy with my purchase. It's a very old movie and hard to come by.

wrong tape vs ad picture
the tape cover on the ad picture clearly shows the 1980's version of this movie but the tape is actually the 1990's version by the same name. the actual product had a completely different cover showing the 1990's version.

Almost completely sucessful
its got a solid storyline (which by nessesity leaves the characters somewhat underdeveloped), solid acting from all involved (CCH Pounder really made you feel for her), solid direction, good pacing, intense drama.... and special effects so godawful that you cant suspend disbelief when they're onscreen.....but watching a movie for the effects is essentially being shallow, so I'm only taking one star off. I remember seeing this when it aired on TV in the early ninties...and now that i've seen it again, its about as solid as low-low budget TV science fiction gets...meaning its all good except the effects work.

A first rate space thriller starring the late Ron Silver, very simply it is lifeboat in space, expect a twist in the end so descrbing this movie would simply give it away, also buy another rare movie called Trapped In Space also in a similar vain to Lifepod, i own this on video have yet to come across this one on DVD. i'm buying Lifepod as a sci 4 movie with T-Force which i am just watching the end of this on tv strangley enough it looks ok a terminater type movie with Jack Saclia, Star knight Klaus Kinski never seen this one it is rated PG and another one called it works out far cheaper than buying Lifepod as a stand alone ian
