The lack of legacy ports for my MacBook was something that had me up in the air on when I purchased my new machine. Like many, I still use legacy ports for my 4K monitor, memory cards, microphones, etc.. I searched for quite some time for the perfect hub to compliment my new MacBook. Linkwin USB-C Hub was recommended to me via MacRumors & I seriously couldn't be more satisfied. It has everything I need and then some. 2 USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI input for driving my 4K equipment, along with a standard SD card slot. To top it all off, I ordered the space gray model & it matches my MacBook Pro perfectly! If you are on the edge about which of the many hubs to purchase, then look no further. This is the one!

Back in May, I got a new laptop with only Type-C ports. Living in the future except for many "retro" devices. I've gotten a few hubs but nothing was quite cutting it - either too expensive, build quality, or other reasons. The Linkwin hub is an affordable option for the one-port future. As a college student, I'm certainly needing to connect flash drives and to various TVs/Projectors. The device is small enough to slip easily in my backpack.As I refuse to use Windows or MacOS, I run Ubuntu 19.04 (Linux 5.0). All functions of the hub work well at full speed.

About the size of 2 fingers, nice way to add SD/microSD support to an iPad Pro (software support will improve when iPad OS comes out). Great for photography trips with just camera and iPad Pro.Only thing I'd add, and it looks like there is room without making it bulkier, is another USB-C port for charging. But otherwise an awesome inconspicuous addition to your USB-C device.

I purchased this unit for my MacBook Pro 15” 2017 Model. It provides connectivity to my legacy USB devices and SD card for photo transfer. I haven’t used the power input so I can’t comment how well it works. I plugged the power directly into my laptop.The unit provides the same transfer speed from legacy devices as before, so no penalty there.I can’t vouch for its longevity since it’s only 2 weeks old at the time of this writing.So far, I’m very satisfied with the unit.

Great USB C hub - nice compact size, good design and most importantly, it works just as it should. All ports are easy to use and work well without issues. It would be nice if it had an ethernet port - that's the only thing I wish it had. However, other than that, it has everything I need. I love the compact portable size, easy to carry around and use anytime I need it.

This is a quality built product that easily fits in a laptop bag or backpack that provides a great hub for additional ports, memory card reader, and most importantly for me, a hdmi port. I've used it with my laptop, as well as with my docking station for multiple monitors. Its well worth the cost.

Used this for my OnePlus which does not have an card built in so I had to transfer all my things off my old microSD card. Works awesome.

Very happy with product being as described. Pleasantly surprised it's so small.
