DR Strings Electric Guitar Strings, Dimebag Darrell Signature, Treated Nickel-Plated, 11-50 (DBG-11)

These strings feel like you are cheating somehow, as Dimebag says "you can really get a grip on them." They have never broke on me & can seriously take a beating. With these I don't change my strings often, and they stay bright and clean. Just don't use a metal pick with them, it destroys them.

Really good tone in the strings and they don't go out of tune easily. I really like dimebag, and his strings have a really unique tone almost exactly like dimebag.

I’ve never had a string snap within days of usage. Not even a full week and one snapped. I fixed it. Tuned it. Snapped again within seconds. Already feels like it needs a replacement. Take dimebag’s face off the packet. Stop acting like he’d approve of this garbage. He played way more extreme than me. He would have broke these within 1 show. Just buy the James Hetfield Ernie Ball Master Cores. Same exact gauges Lasted more than a WEEK.

I love dr strings and this 11-50 gauge is perfect for longer scale guitars.because the d and a string is not to heavey. the dime strings are great been using them on and off since they came out. everytime I get something else I wish I had the Dimes'Been playing 19 years playing metal for 11 years .don't listen to that absolute chode who probably never played the strings but just wanted to bad talk dime because he is jealous and has no taste.

These Dimebag strings have been used on my axe since my discovery of them. Irreplaceable. I only buy these! Perfect for metal. They hold tuning and the longevity is better than any other I’ve tried. Buy these if you want to shred!

I’ve been using DR strings for over 10 years and they never disappoint. The seem to last a lot longer than most other brands. With the compression winding they use, it adds more material to the same gauge that you normally use. This results in a fuller sound and longer life.

I'm using a PRS Torero w/floyd rose dropped C and play metal/rock. I bought these strings for the heavy bottom 0.50 as the EB and D'addario gauges didnt really suit my guitar and was struggling to obtain the original factory setup. Thankfully these strings are just amazing. WOW I never really thought strings could make all the difference to action and tone. After hours wasted tinkering with other strings these were set up in under half an hour with factory neck relief and everything. The tone is stunning and harmonics just shriek just like Dimebag (R.I.P) promises. Great balance and feel. My thoughts on this product are that they are well worth the money and are great for a guitar with a floyd rose. They could also be useful for any guitarist looking for more dynamics in their tone. I'm only on day one of using these strings but I hear they last a long time and can take plenty of dive bomb whammy abuse.

Oh man these strings are amazing! It's almost 2 months later and these DR's feel just as fresh as the day I put 'em on. They feel so good to play and bending them is like a dream! One little thing I have to mention though is that the top string isn't as fresh sounding (not as bright and crisp) as the rest of the strings and it was like that pretty much as soon as I put ‘em on.. still it doesn't even bother me at all somehow. Just overall these Dime Hi-Voltages are hands down my favorite strings I've ever played, and I've put alotta hours in everything from NYXL's to Ernie Ball Paradigms to Elixirs.. I really feel the quality and the difference in these handmade treated strings.

I can't play nothing else. Once you tried them on you'll agree with me. I play mostly metal, but you can use these strings no matter the genre you play. They are very versatile and adaptable. The feel of these strings is unbelievable. They are tough and they sound amazing. The only bad thing I could say is the slim strings tent to rust a little, but only after a few months. I'll still give it 5 stars.
