perefect fit, easy to install.
Perfect fit for older aluminum sliding screen door edge. Easy to install right out of the wrapper by pushing into track and then continuing to push all the way down the door edge; easy to trim with scissors. Great price, too.

Arrives Short of Expectations
This produce works well ; sort of. This product comes tightly rolled in a plastic bag and must be stretched in the sun to get it to the advertised 84 inch length. Mine has also shrunk at least one inch over the winter and therefore needing to be patched for full coverage. Also as packaged, the shape of this products features change and also benefit from stretching in the sun.

Best screen door bug seal.
I looked at all the big box stores they did not carry it you had to order and would take 2 weeks to get it so I checked Amazon guess what in stock took 3 days. The seal is perfect just lay it in the sun for about an hour to stretch out flat cut to length and push it in the track that easy.

Good product, very happy!
Worked very well for my sliding screen door. We did have to cut it a bit more than the instructions said, but that was easy! I do recommend to put it in hot water to make it more pliable and easy to work with.

Yay, bug protection at last.
When I got our doggy door (years ago) it came with something like this bug protector for this larger gap from dog door to screen (over 2 inches wide). At the time I thought we were replacing our door so I rolled it up and put it away but then when I finally wanted to install it, I couldn't remember where it went. Long story is I spent a long time looking for a similar product that would be wide enough but I just couldn't find it wide enough. At only 1.75 inches wide I knew it would not reach the other side but I had seen the weather stripping that could possibly fit on the doggy door on the opposite with self stick. OK, I can't remember which one I saw first but it was a "I can make it work" moment and I can now leave the screen door open for dogs to use at the doggy door but keep bugs out at the same time.It took some time to install this product on the actual screen door side but with the back side of a pair of tweezer, (after attempting some other actual tools this seemed to be not harmful to product and sturdy enough to allow me to push into screen a small section at a time) and after about an hour (again me taking my time) this was not just in but I feel like it will not be going anywhere any time soon.I then installed weather stripping (clear) with 3M transparent tape onto the other side and there it was! It was a perfect fit.I did lay it out prior in warm sun and then kept it laid out for a few days strait because it had a wave in it from being rolled up. It still had a wave (not as bad) but I still installed it anyway and you know after a couple days the remaining little wave toward the bottom is almost completely gone and I don't have to insure which side is over lapping the other side like I did at first.Another thing that worked out is the material is firm enough but soft enough at the same time to pass over the glass slider handle without being a problem. I was worried at first but turned to be fine. Mainly because the glass door is usually opened wider if I need to open the screen door to walk through so really it is not a problem passing over the handle.Very glad I decided to give it a try.

Thought it was too wide to fit, but its rubber! Push hard and all good!
I compared this to the one I was replacing and was bummed that it was obviously wider and I gave it a quick try but it didn't seem like it would work so I rolled it back up and put the old one back in and put the door back up and came here to return it... figured I'd check the reviews first to see if others had the same experience and found a couple reviews that said this worked for their 3/8" gap (what I have) so I gave it another try.Once I got it started it was pretty easy (with considerable thumb force) to get it in the 3/8" gap. I was like DUH! it's rubber! Just squeeze it in there! The ends were messed up from being rolled tightly for shipment, but since it's longer than my door, I simply cut the messed up parts off and now it's perfect.
