Very flavorful
This is for the 29oz size of Robertson's mincemeat. I order this from Amazon because I cannot find Robertson's Mincemeat locally. Check carefully the prices offered. They vary considerably. Also you will need 2 jars for a regular pie if you buy the 14.5 opz size, and be sure to add in the shipping costs as you compare. This is so much more flavorful than the other brands such as Nonesuch and Crosse and Blackwell. We have had jars of it stashed for over a year, and they are fine. We have not added anything to this for mincemeat pies. Sometimes I will make a "hard sauce" to go with it in a pie, but it doesn't need it.

Will Make Your Mouth Water
I love that this product is available in larger individual jars in a case of 6. This will last me all through the Thanksgiving/Xmas season. I make mince pie parcels for my husband to give away to his coworkers prior to Xmas, as well as making for personal consumption, and this quantity ensures I won't run out or risk leftovers spoiling. This is to my taste preference, tart with a bit of candied sweet. Vegetarian. The consistency is thick and firm with whole pieces of sultanas, currants, raisins.

Like home made
We were too lazy (to busy) to make our own. Tasted great = like home made. We made little mince meat pies in order to taunt the folks who banned them at Christmas, banned Christmas generally! Curses on the Puritans and Oliver Cromwell. Here's to mince meat pies!!

Not again
It was not as good as what I bought from the Indian store. Raisins were really dried out even in the goo.
