Dorman 626-541 Engine Heater Hose Assembly Compatible with Select Ford/Lincoln Models (OE FIX)

It is a little hard to install as others noted, but works great. I actually used a heat gun to warm up the hose to make it more flexible.

Fit my 2017 ford F150 5.0 V8 perfectly. Just remember when installing the Y part is directional where you push it on. The o rings on the original hose were leaking fluid. This part fixed the leak.

NEED TO PURCHASE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE O-RING if you are replacing the OEM fitting. This is cheaper than the plastic OEM fitting, but made of more durable aluminum instead of the OEM plastic. No leakage unless you forget to replace the upper radiator hose gasket. Don’t be like me, order the gasket when you order this part. Installation is somewhat difficult, it is a tight fit. I suggest installing this and then connecting the thermostat housing to it and then inserting and tightening the thermostat housing bolts. Have put a few thousand miles on it this far and appears to be fully functional.

Worked great!! For the side that connects to the thermostat, the o-ring washer is included and was already installed, mine was red. For the top radiator hose side, the sealing o-ring is often flattened and easily missed in the hose quick disconnect, it will be directly below the white plastic bevel piece. Remove that bevel without destroying it, pick the flattened o-ring out directly below it and replace it with one from one of the many o-ring kits available for that. Hopefully much sturdier and will be less likely to warping than the plastic T is. You will be taking the belts off, makes sure you download a diagram of how they go. The smaller belt goes on first, the tensioners can be a pain, one just rotates out of the way (smaller belt), the other is removed (bigger). Picture is of the mystery flattend o-ring in the upper hose, green arrow pointing to it. O-ring does not go where the red is, you'll just end up with coolant on the ground, how do I know? <facepalm>

Would have preferred OEM part but this one did the job. Takes the place of the plastic OEM part and is made better. No more leaks! Good part and fixed the leak!

Absolutely does not fit. The shoulder on the oring side is not deep enough to accept the cone seat seal. This prevents the snap from keeping the assembly on the mating male tube. I see some with 5 start reviews so it seems clear they have obvious quality errors. I was hoping id get one of the good parts.

Fit perfect and no modifications needed. Should last longer than an oem as the oem is plastic and can crack.

Had leaking heater hose assembly and replaced with this. The quality is much better than the oem plastic. The fit is acceptable, but the installation is hard to get the factory hoses to fully seat on the assembly. In all a good upgrade and shouldn't have to worry about another cracked plastic assembly.
