Worked for 1999 Pathfinder with 3.3
Customer had a crank no start.I used a Lisle inline spark tester and determined no spark from the spark plugs. The cap and rotor looked worn, so I started there with no luck (the rotor would spin as the motor cranked indicating the distributor bearing and timing belt were okay). When testing right at the old coil, it would spark, but no spark when tested with the cap installed. The old was arcing out. Notice the crack on the old one in the picture. You won't find this part at the auto parts store. Good luck

Doesn’t work
* If this review was helpful please mark it as helpful *I bought this to replace the in distributor coil on my 2000 Nissan Frontier 3.3 v6. My Nissan would run and idle fine until it warmed up. Then it would start to misfire and go into a limp mode. No check engine lights were ever thrown. So after checking and cleaning all the sensors I searched the forums and found multiple people like me having the same problem. It was the coil that was built into the distributor. So I ordered it and upon arrival it looks great except it doesn’t include the spring that touches the distributor cap. Luckily my spring was still good after 21yrs. I very carefully disassembled the distributor and installed the new coil. Upon starting the cold engine with the new coil in the misfires were instant and it failed to even idle when it was cold.So thinking I installed something incorrectly I disassembled everything again and this time I put the 21 year old cold back in. With a cold engine again I started it up and it idled normally until it got warm. So I was back to my original problem. I ended up sending this coil back as it’s defective and sourcing a coil from a junkyard until I can afford to buy a new or reman distributor from Nissan. So in conclusion the coil that I received was a dud. It may have been a fluke with this company but I still got the dud. Maybe someone else will have better luck with them.
