I purchased 31” which is a good size to use off dock. This is my second one, we lost 1st one. Very durable, my 12 year old catches minnows, shrimp and crabs in this. We put bait in pocket on bottom of net, we secure with string. We use chicken, hotdogs anything we have handy to lure the critters. Then we use bait to fish. Great activity to spend time with your family.

Paid 13.99 and got exactly what I expected. Takes a little time to sink. Thin lightweight materials. Stuck a piece of bread in it-dropped over side of pier. Whenever I needed bait I simply pulled it up. Much easier than a casting net. Love it so far after 1 day use. Will update after I use it a week.

used 4 times, blue crabs tore through netting. waste of money. had 4 nets. had to sacrifice 1 to repair other 3.

Not heavy duty but I'm not lifting fish off a fishing pier.

This may be just right for crabs and other marine life, but to be used to catch minnows for bait was awful. I had several seasoned fishermen try it to see if I was using it wrong and they could only catch one or two at a time while theirs caught 20-40 at one time. I tried it because it was less expensive, but now wish I spent a little more for a better one.

No instructions on how to condense the net to fit back into the little drawstring bag it came in, I've never managed a "proper" way to put it back and while it gets the job done the frame of the net is now very bent out of shape

i love this net, it is very light but i put 2 sets of 10oz fishing weights on the side to keep it on the floor of the ocean

I added 2 ounce egg sinkers to keep it more stabled. This net works really well at the pier.
