Works very well and it has calcium instead of sodium which most of the store-bought stool softeners have. If you are trying to eliminate salt in your diet this softener is the ticket.

I've looked many of times for this (kind of) product. It was suggested way back when I was pregnant with my first child, 22 years ago for that occasionally needed "help". It was GENTLE but very effective. It was under the name of SURFAK I eventually could not find Surfak any more, but when asking a Pharmacist about it, he told me that you just want a stool softener in which the Active ingredient is Docusate CALCIUM. (NOT Docusate SODIUM) That was the difference between Surfak and the others. I think you can still find the Surfak, on line at other places, but this worked for me and probably less expensive. =)

I bought this because when I had ear wax, Urgent Care said they used Docusate stool softener to soften the wax before flushing my ear with water. I found an article online from a doctor who said that she uses the softgel form and mixes the contents with a few drops of water and lets it sit in the ear for at least 30 minutes. So I did the same.

The media could not be loaded. previous bottle was perfect but shipment before last was just like this. This one is definitely damaged. It was sealed, but when opened capsules were stepped together and greasy. One capsule must have opened up. I’d like to return, but there’s a no return policy. Can I please get a refund? Now I got another one
