Sign Mounting Bracket for Larger Poles, Round or Square (Single Sided)

Two of the mounting brackets were used to mount a large and heavy railroad crossbucks sign to a 4-1/2 inch diameter pole. The screw mechanism on the clamp is very clever and makes it easy start and tighten the slotted strap. Use of battery powered drill with a drive socket made for a very quick and easy installation of the large and heavy crossbucks sign to the large pole! I found these to be very good quality and cost effective sign mounting straps.

Once I figured out the clever design of the tightening screw, this thing became a breeze to install. Hint: it pops up (see pic) so you can easily feed the band through and get it to approximately the right size, then pops back down so you can tighten it.

Those worked just fine to mount my sign to a thick pole. However, the tightening system was a bit flimsy and kept springing up (unlock position), and thus, to avoid it to unscrew by itself at some point, I had to add a small collar to maintain it in place as a extra precaution (see photos).

We used these to mount video surveillance signage on light poles in our HOA. It was much easier than I expected. The key is to mount the signs to the brackets while the bands are loose. Once the signs are positioned and square, tighten the bands. Keep the tightening screws in the open area between the signs.There are no mounting instructions so reason I am indicating this here.

I needed to mount some signs along the road, and these worked perfectly.

Easy to install. Fits large ballards.

I was sent a completely different product than the pictured item. This doedsn't use a banding system, doesn't fit square poles, and doesn't fit oversized poles. I will be returning this.
