Top quality ventilation fan
This ventilation fan exudes high quality, from the packaging to the sturdy construction to the electronic controls to the instruction manual. From reading the instruction manual online, I ordered the S3 fan thinking that this would allow me to reduce the humidity in my crawl space. And it would do that, but the S3 does not have an integrated humidity control, so I returned the S3 and ordered the T3 that does include the integrated humidity, as well as temperature, and vapor pressure deficit control. But the unit that arrived had already been opened and the fan blades rattling around loose within the fan housing; clearly, this was a damaged return that I received, and I don't know if this was the fault of Amazon or AC Infinity, the maker of this fan. Regardless, I returned the damaged fan and ordered another T3. The new T3 was perfectly packaged, just like the original S3 I had received but returned, and worked flawlessly. There was one question I had about setting up the controller, and Gabriel, the customer service person I spoke with at AC Infinity, was a pleasure to talk with and super helpful, and he talked me through the answer to my question. Setting up the controller definitely takes some time because there are several interacting variables that need to be set correctly for the fan to operate as intended, but the manual is written clearly and well. I read the controller manual one time, put it aside for 12 hours, then read it again with the controller in hand while changing settings to see what happened. It took about an hour for this second read of the controller manual and setting the controller the way I wanted. This is definitely a very high quality ventilation fan, the price is comparable to other fans that do not have nearly the sophistication nor control nor quality.

Nice Little Unit But the User Interface is Tricky
This review is for the T3 model. It comes securely packed and looks well made. It's easy to hook up, not too noisy, and moves a decent amount of air for a 4-1/2 inch fan. Why only 4 stars? Programming it takes a little getting used to. I set it to turn on when the temp gets above 90. It turned on alright but then it didn't turn off when the temp dropped below 90. I was about to contact the seller for help when I discovered that whoever tested it at the factory didn't turn off the test triggers they set. My fan continued to run because a low humidity trigger was active. I had to cycle through all the triggers and clear the unwanted ones to "OFF" before the temperature trigger would work like I expected it to. Besides triggers for temperature and humidity, the unit also has a timer trigger but it's a countdown timer. The fan runs until the countdown reaches zero and then it stops. I guess you have to reset the timer if you want to use it again. Seems to me that a time-of-day trigger would be more useful. As a final word of advice, you have to be aware of what mode you leave it in. If the mode display says "Off" then the fan won't run no matter whether triggers are set. If it says "On" then the fan won't stop running no matter what. The hi/lo temperature and hi/lo humidity triggers (up to 4 simultaneously) only work when the mode display says "Auto". Likewise the timer only counts down in "Timer" mode. How can this be confusing? Say you set the temperature trigger and then switch to "On" mode to set the fan speed (which you can only do in "On" mode). If you leave it in "On" mode and don't switch back to "Auto" then the unit will ignore your trigger.

Does exactly what it advertises.
This fan is exactly what I needed to add ventilation in our bathroom. We rent and obviously can’t install a real bathroom exhaust. The window is too narrow for most window fans (especially with sensing features), right above the toilet, and DIRECTLY faces our neighbors 15 feet away. Sooo awkward.Anyhow, I used some scrap plywood to make a very basic window mount, reversed the fan in the casing so it pulls air out (super easy), and boom! Pretty decent bathroom exhaust.I was skeptical based on the size of the fan but did some research on bathroom exhausts and read that for our tiny bathroom 75 CFM is a decent exhaust amount. Then, because I’m a huge nerd and happened to have a hot wire anemometer on hand, I tested the airflow. The average CFM on the fan was between 128-133 CFM. Sweet. In my opinion, the set-points were pretty easy to figure out, the only thing I missed was that I had the alarm set at first, so I took a shower and then the heat/humidity triggered the fan and the alarm. Nice to know it was working but I turned the alarm off :)Overall the fan is very quiet and works really well. I can think of TONS of places this would be useful (laundry, attic, basement, indoor growing/sprouting…) and am considering buying one of the doubles to use in our bedroom which is also *just* too narrow for a smart-ish window fan.Definitely recommend, been using for a few weeks and no complaints at all :)

Impressed, exceeds expectations 6 months running non stop
Was not sure about this product with the mixed reviews. But I am pleased to report the unit is working great so far after being on non stop for 6 months without issue or noise. I have placed this in my 10x10 storage shed located. It is always hot and humid, have the unit set to run to keep humidity under 60% which is impossible in my climate so it runs all day long at low speed to constantly circulate air in my shed to prevent mold. It is doing an amazing job. I will be buying more products from this brand. I have full confidence in this company to produce a quality, reliable product. I am no stranger to fans, this is a great piece of kit.
