I used to swear by the lipstick queen pH lip balm but then they got bought out. I was never able to find a replacement until now. It smells mildly of sweet tarts and doesn’t feel too drying. I naturally have very pigmented lips and worried the red shade would look too bold, so I bought the peach. I wish it was less pink and more orange on my lips, but that just must be my pH. Still, it’s very pigmented and even after washing my face, my lips are still stained with the color. Just what I like as I prefer to apply once and then just use lip balm throughout the day.

This lip stain does stain pretty well..on me it last about 3 to 4 hrs.Furthermore it is pretty moisturizing which is a bonus. Those are the pros about it.I knocked off two Stars due to the following...I have to apply several layers to get a darker color and the color is not red at all...it is more orange or coral. I was hoping it would be more of a reddish tint. I have attached pictures so that you can see the color of it when applied.The stick part got stuck to the cap the first day...but I just put it back in... however, for $25 I would expect it to be a little better made. Given that I have 5 dollar ones that have never done that.Additionally...for the price it seems a bit steep for the size and above mentioned quality.But, I am not saying that it is horrible...which is why I gave it three stars... it is a pretty nice stain... but truth be told, I think revlon's lip stains are just as good and three times cheaper. The only reason I tried this one was because I was hoping to find one that actually came out red.

This is my holy grail lipstick! It's moisturizing without being slippery or tacky, just feels like a lip balm that stays in place. The stain color is bright and lasts evenly all day. Customer service is also spectacular about any issues if you reach out on their company website. One time I got a tube where the consistency was off- tasted like Vaseline and didn't stain well, but from other tubes I know it doesn't have a taste and usually stains well. They immediately resolved it when I emailed them.
