Marvel Premium Edition: Wolverine: Old Man Logan Hardcover – 7 Jan. 2019

One of the best graphic novels I have ever read. Gripping from beginning to end, I usually like to take my time reading graphic novels to make them last but I could not help but read this one all in one read (took about 90 minutes). The story is a great mix of tragedy and action taking place in a dystopian future where the super villains of the Marvel world have taken over North America. The art work was amazing. This might be the best Marvel graphic novel I've ever read. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Great art and a great story that drags you in and makes you want to see more, id gladly see this as the main marvel universe, book wise it’s way superior to most of the other trades over recent years.Something to be aware of is that it’s recommended you read the old man Hawkeye collection as it’s a prequel to this.

This is by far the BEST wolverine comic I have ever read, once I started I could not put it down. An ultraviolent, dark, gritty and emotional story, fantastic artwork, if you're just starting comics and wondering where to start, start here! A must have!!

So, we come to the graphic novel. I thought that I was going to be getting a similar story to the one we see in the movie. I couldn’t have been more wrong.While in the movie Logan is retired, he doesn’t seem to have too much problem doling out a few beatings here and there. Graphic Novel Logan is RETIRED RETIRED, insofar as he refuses to fight AT ALL. Even when he is being beaten about the place, and threatened with the deaths of his family. Oh yeah, that’s surprise number 2 – Logan is married with kids. So yeah, completely different set of characters throughout.The story begins with Logan, hard up on cash and being threatened by his landlords, the Hulk family (who is a bad guy in these stories unlike in The Avengers). In desperate need of cash Logan (NOT WOLVERINE as he insists) agrees to accompany Hawkeye on a trip across the enemy controlled continent to deliver a package. No fighting – he needs a navigator. It doesn’t take a genius to guess this may not be the easy trip Hawkeye is promising.What follows is essentially a road trip across a very different USA than what we have now. One which is controlled by the bad guys of the Marvel Universe. This is coupled with a story of just how we ended up where we are at the start of the story.I thought it was absolutely brilliant, I loved it, and it gets wrapped up brilliantly in the end. What I like most about it is that it can be read completely as a standalone novel. Love the story, love the characters, and the artwork is sublime. If you are a Wolverine fan and you haven’t read this yet, I highly recommend you pick it up.

Fantastic story, great artwork, interesting characters and a good view of a possible future for the marvel universe. Was sad to finish this one. Wish it were far longer as i'd have loved to explore more of this world. All in all best wolverine story i've read to date and best graphic novel i've read in a while. Definitely recommend

Dark, brutal and simply amazing! One of my favorite comics of all time and it arrived in perfect condition! Money well spent!

Amazing book, has everything.Sex, violence, gore and a family of inbred hillbillies. Not saying who, but definitely worth the effort in finding out!

Fantastic book for Wolverine fans. Shares some elements with the film but for the most part a different storyline altogether- I liked both.
