Excellent mini processor, ideal for blending/chopping pesto and ragu. We previously had the equivalent KitchenAid variant and whilst excellent in operation the lugs on the main body where the bowl attaches snapped making it difficult to operate. I didn't expect this one would be as good but it is with the added benefit of having a more secure fitting bowl. We've used this frequently over the weeks since purchased and it's been a pleasure to use, effective and easy to clean. If, like us, you're not particularly worried about the colour of the unit they are incredibly well priced...approx. £30 at time of purchase, very satisfactory purchase.

This is additional chopper in my kitchen, I do have a few, but with this mini Cuisinart is such a joy to do cooking. Everything goes so easy with it. Love it! If you go pulsing you are getting bigger chopping and if you just keep pressing the button bits are way smaller if course. Haven’t tried grinding yet but I will update in the future. But what I want to say is that there is something in this Cuisinart, magical little thing, but not that small that it would bother you. Body is plastic but the legs are perfect, so many tiny rubber peaks which simply holds the base so steady, no need to press when placing the chopper on the surface. Amazing! Will try to make a mixture for a cake and will update. I am crazy about this chopper thing, this is my newest baby!🙂

Really nice chopper, does the job and it’s really straight forward to use. I’ve had this for a few month. Is and my only concern is that when I use the grind function for around 5 mins to make my nut butter, it stops working for a few mins and then I need to wait to use it again. Other than that , no issue.

I use this in a professional kitchen setting. Handy for small quantities. I bought this a good while ago and it's still going strong. Great price and comes with a good selection of accessories.

This is a good food processor but it is not very robust. I dropped the lid when I was opening the box and it broke so I had to get a new one. Then today I was making bread in it and the vibration caused the whole thing to fall off the work surface, breaking another part. Real shame. But I can’t recommend it as it’s not fit for use in a regular kitchen.

This review is for the cordless mini prep pro. I already own the medium version and am very happy with it, but I wanted a smaller machine that I could just take out of the cupboard and use it straight away. This fits the bill perfectly. No plugs or wires. As long as it's charged up, it can be used anywhere. Up to now, I've used it for small mixing and chopping jobs, anything bigger, then I'll get the medium machine out. It has two buttons. One for chopping, sharp side, and one for grinding, blunt side. Please note that when switching from one way to the other, the machine needs to pause for a second or two, this is not a fault, its to enable the motor to stop fully before changing direction. Also, the machine will not work unless the bowl and the lid are properly in place. Instruction book and recipes are provided. I have always been happy with anything with Cuisinart brand, and this is no exception. Highly recommended, well worth the price.

Excellent product. I could not be more pleased with it. I have two bigger mixers , a magimix and a vitamix, - horses for courses, but I can see myself using this more than the others. It is splendid for chopping onions and garlic, and herbs etc , and , by reason of its size , is very easy to clean. Just a swish of water and soap liquid, wizz around , rince , and dry with a piece of kitchen paper. You can of course put the bowl, blade and lid in the dishwasher . There is a very good and well produced guide supplied , on good paper, and is well worth taking a few minutes to read it, - for example they say that if you reverse the motion of the blade , the chopping function, you can free bits stuck to the side of the bowl, and , NB wash the plastic parts on the TOP RACK of he dishwasher , and they will last longer. One final point ( and this is why I am writing this ) Contrary to a statement in one review, the blade is OF COURSE detachable, it just locks in place for safety and can easily be removed. Nobody would buy any mixer is that were not the case, and I can reassure . I always like Cuisinart products , and for value , looks , and usefulness, they should be proud of this one .

I had been considering a Magimix to replace my Kenwood but having bought a Cuisinart mini chopper/grinder, I was impressed enough to buy their food processor. My main requirements are for vegetable preparation. The slicing and grating attachments were easy to fit and didn’t leave me with loads of food unprocessed. I sliced potatoes, sweet peppers, mushrooms and onions, varying the slicing size fairly easily. Grated cheese very fast. The. Dicing kit is a separate set up process and method but worked well with onions, potatoes, carrots and courgettes - it is extremely sharp! General chopping in the large bowl is great and the mini bowl is very well sealed. I have not tried the spiraliser blades yet. Obviously there is a fair amount of washing up as with any food processor. The only downside for me is that the lid is so snug that it feels stiff to remove, however, it is unlikely to leak for this reason. There is an effective safety locking mechanism whereby, unless all the lid parts are properly engaged, the motor will not start. It took me a few goes to get the hang of this. I considered removing one star regarding ease of use only because you can’t just throw it all together quickly but need to set up carefully and take a bit of time to learn how to use everything. The instructions provided are easy to follow though.

I bought this to dice, to variably slice and to make kitchen work easier. I used to have. Breville Sous Chef, and it’s great , but costs x 2. I thought this would do a similar job. It dices well, but only has one size and does waste some. The variable slicer is nice, but cheaper models with two discs do 90% of your jobs anyway. The main headache is , after breezing through some food prep, you need clean a whole bunch of things. The lid, three pushers, the bowl, maybe the inner bowl, the spindle and a couple of blades. It might be fine for large meal prep, but is too much hassle for day to day use. The machine has a good motor and the slicing disc is a dream. The dicing grater is okay, but not very versatile, in my use. The chopping and other plastic blade are just like my 50$ food processor. I think I will stick with my basic processor for now, less stuff to wash up each time…. It’s not a good as the Breville, but it costs half the price. I would either use a basic FP or spring for the Breville, the clean up was easier and the power was incredible. Minimal waste.
