GREAT DEAL

When I received this model although it is a waterline version, i was slightly disappointed in its length and challenge to assemble but then i read an article review from 2007 on another site reporting that this model is about 30 years old and at the time considered state of the art and I don't think it has been improved on since. About 1977. So here we go.Now there many challenges out there in the hobby world. The H.M.S. Hood, definitely a challenge with all the micro pieces03.27.21 --- completed the model, had several in line in front, very nice,like it very much. No decals came with it but it has very small machine guns for the quad mounts. What I usually do, is put white napkins because i use a dark metal cutting board for my hobby work,used it since the 90's in case i drop one and cut from spruce street. Tiny little rascals, easily lose. Single mount 20mm very tiny but over all I liked the results and especially the ship design line. Very nice to look at.

I do not think it is a toy, though, at least not for kids. The quality is good, and the model is pretty after u finished it.

It's an older kit but still not too bad.

The deck of the model is a three piece construction that does not particularly match properly. Besides that little thing the model is nicely designed and looks real nice when assembled.
