Can this only be used sitting on a table? Like, is the height of the tripod only 6 inches? Or can this stretch out taller like a standard tripod?

The tripod that comes with the light IS NOT extendable, but the screw holes are standard sized and the light can be mounted on a standard camera tripod.

It’s less then 110 light is not that bright

Can you place on a tripod?

I have a camera with tripod threads, and it screws into the small tripod that comes with the light. So the light should screw on to other tripods without an issue.
