Works Great For AR15 Builds
I have used this roll pin tool kit to build a couple AR's now, and I really like using it. The set has pretty much everything you need to install or remove roll pins from your AR. The set comes with specialty bolt catch starter and driving punches. These are designed specifically to install the bolt catch roll pin without scratching or marring the finish on your lower receiver. These two punches have a plastic/rubber coating on them and extend past the lower receiver so that there is no chance of hitting the receiver when you are hammering in the bolt catch roll pin. The trigger guard press is designed so that you press in the roll pin instead of hammering it in. This eliminates the possibility of breaking the tabs on the lower receiver and ruining it when installing the trigger guard. The trigger guard press and the bolt catch punches are alone worth the cost of the set. The set comes in a nice plastic case and each part has it's own individual slot to hold it. The instructions are included for the trigger guard press, but YouTube is better for obtaining a tutorial on how to use it. I guess all the other punches included in the set will have a use sooner or later when working on rifles or pistols, but the only ones I really needed for building my AR's were described above. All in all it was a good buy and, while it is not the name brand, it is worth the money I spent on it. Heck the name brand trigger guard installation press is only about $1.00 less than this entire set. If you are not building AR's for a living this set will do everything you need and then some. I highly recommend it.

Great value as a starter set.
A decent starter set for light gunsmithing work, but don’t expect pro-level quality. I have used several times so far, and the tools get the job done, though the smaller pin starter is a bit flimsy and will bend if you put too much pressure on it. The dual head mallet and punches work fine for basic projects, and the variety of pieces is handy to have around. The storage case is just a thin plastic pouch — nothing fancy — but it keeps everything together well enough. Overall, it’s an average-quality kit that’s definitely worth it for casual use or as a backup set. Not something you’d want to rely on for heavy-duty work though.

Friggen great!!
Friggen perfect! Works well with any of the American wireless hole punches I have! Not just for the evil ar-15s 😉

Must have for DIY
I got this item to install a drop in trigger, and I wanted to get fancy and upgrade the trigger guard as well. This tool kit allowed me to don it all. 10/10 recommend

The best tool I have found for installing Trigger Guards! AND...
The best tool I have found for installing Trigger Guards! No more balancing the lower on a partial deck of cards and hoping it gets it right. This part works and does the job the first time, every time! HOWEVER, the best part of this kit is actually the "Bolt Catch Install Tool Kit." This is actually just two rubber-coated bolt catch pins, one a starter and one a driver. The starter actually has a hole that lets you seat the Bolt Catch pin and begin to install it into that TINY hole in the lower. Once you have begun the insertion then the Driver Pin can be used. It is still a good idea to tape off the side of the lower to prevent marring, but these really do minimize that as well. Yes, I can actually do all of the functions this kit allows, No, it is not as easy as using this kit. I can highly spending a few bucks and using this kit.

Mediocre quality but gets the job done
Picked up this kit for a first time lower build on a hunting rifle for the next season. Has a majority of the tools you would need to assemble a unit. Overall, this is a good kit and useful, but quality control was lacking for me. Punches look well made and have a hold nipple to drive pins. Trigger pin press worked flawlessly; nice touch on it being magnetic. Hammer is a nice weight and works well. The case is fantastic and holds pieces securely, along with some additional items I tossed in (extra detents/springs/screws etc.) in a baggie. Star was lost for the starter punches, which hold the pins WAY too tightly. If you do manage to "start" a pin, you can't remove the pin from the starter punch! I had to use vice grips to get the punch/pin off the receiver and thankfully had another pin to use without the starter punch nor did I scratch my finish. I did manage to get the pin out after soaking in penetrant and using vice grips again. Another star lost on the trigger guard installation press. While it worked great, the guide pin was glued into the housing storage slot and was terrible to remove. I had to soak in penetrant, and once removed used 1500 grit to sand down the profile so it slid in/out easier of the storage slot and the receiver. The hammer grip was also covered in metal shavings that I did not appreciate jabbing me and I having to get tweezers and remove. I cleaned that up with the 1500 grit as well. Overall this will get the job done - quality control needs to step up the game however.
