Interesting Inversion of Farmyard Power
The book is excellent. I will be using it for drama and literacy in my Year 1/2 class this year. It is clever and will lead to some interesting discussions about who is in the right and who is in the wrong. Is it fair for humans to make demands of the animals? I am looking forward to the lessons! However, this edition lost one star because it is basically a small book intended for individual readers. Part of the picture is lost from each page to accommodate this. This is my own fault really and it was a good deal cheaper, hence why I bought it. Just decide if you need this smaller version or the larger full picture book.

Radical farmyard fun!
Wonderful silly story which shows the importance of collective bargaining, even if you're a cow. No more review, as I'm going on strike.

Front cover discussion ...
Great book, lovely read. Could of done without the 'Ready to Read' at the top of the book. Looses focus when discussing what's on the front cover of the book....

Funny book. A little different. My son enjoys me reading it to him.
Very funny book. Cows demand electric blankets and go on strike.then the hens join in. Duck tries to help negotiate with the farmer by passing the notes that the cows are typing. Pictures quite funny too. My son likes to join in by making the moo sound.

Important read for those who love wildlife.
I never trusted ducks in the first place. This book helps to reinforce that conviction.

My nephew loved it.and I enjoyed reading it - I found it quite difficult to get the words correct - so maybe there is something in the philosophy. Not sure if he will read the book out loud, once he can read - thats not upto me!
