The product is okay in quality...the colour is like that of light colour jaggery, it's not dark in colour, the taste is satisfactory

Worth Trying
This is 100% jaggery powder with jaggery as a sole ingredient. It is an excellent alternative to the sugar though you have to use a bit more of it as it doesn't taste as sweet as sugar . Only thing I didn't like is that it only comes in 2 sizes of 500 gm and 700 gm which is a bit troublesome as I go through one jar of it in a week or two and I have to buy it frequently . It would really help if they can make it in 1 kg and 5 kg sizes so we can buy in bulk and it would be also environment friendly as less plastic will be used for packaging.Other than that i have no issues and i would recommend using this brand. Using jaggery powder instead of sugar has so many health benefits that I think everyone should incorporate this in their diet and ditch sugar completely.

Great taste
I have enjoyed one of this company's Jaggery products before and this is excellent. I use it mainly in frothy coffee and natural yoghurts as a sweetener, but you can also use it in baking and elsewhere as a sugar replacement. I love the taste, which is much richer than pure sugar. The health benefits ascribed to it I am a bit dubious about (it's probably safe it say it's healthier than refined sugar anyway), but I only have relatively modest amounts and this pack of 2 large jars will last me several months.

Its like Sugar.... but NOT
I have tried many Sugar replacements, including Stevia and other plant-based sweeteners. I have not before now ever tried Jaggery powder and so was keen to give it a go!It's not like sugar in texture, instead of it's more earthy/lumpy. It has quite a strong earthy sweet smell and tasted OK but it's quite different. I have tried it in drinks, and being honest prefer something like Stevia.Perhaps it would be better used in cooking!
