Decent for the price
I've had this chair I think a year and a half now and it's held up fairly well. The fabric is still intact (no peeling, like with the fake plastic leather chairs). The actual seat is still cushy and the armrests still have some padding (although the left one has gotten pretty thin because I tend to lean on that elbow. I feel like the lower back support is pretty uncomfortable if I'm actually sitting still and leaning back on the chair for a long time. I don't know if that's something that has declined over time or if it's always been like that since since I don't usually sit up straight for that long (it's like the place where the support is is a little too low for the small of my back. The height is easy to adjust although I wish the lock function was a little sturdier (once in awhile it slips and I lean back and see my life flash before my eyes) and also kept it locked fully upright (the lock locks it so that you can be upright or tip back just slightly). It wasn't horrifically difficult to set up and it's held up pretty well considered the price.

Pretty great
i work at home, and i also game on my pc, so i spend a lot of time at my desk. after browsing through a bunch of Serta chairs (which are supposed to be "the best" for comfort and support) and reading a lot of bad reviews, i widened my search and found this one.it's been about two weeks, and i'm pretty happy with it so far. here are pros and cons.Pros:- easy to set up. i'm lousy at putting things together, and i got it assembled in about 15 minutes with no frustration. an allen wrench is included in the box.- microfiber, NOT fake leather ("pleather", "bonded leather", etc). that stuff cracks in no time, and then your chair is useless. it's also sticky in the summer and cold in the winter. this microfiber is soft, comfy, and feels great on your skin too...and it's easy to clean, and it won't crack like fake leather.- decent padding. i wouldn't call it ultra-plush, but the seat and back are decently soft and cushy. at this price range, i'm happy. i have some chronic lower back pain, and using this chair for a few weeks has really reduced it.- pretty good back height. i'm 6'1 and i can lean back comfortably with my neck and lower back of my head resting, if i recline a bit while sitting.- fairly wide seat space. i'm 6'1 and about 190 lbs, and there's plenty of space between the arms. not so wide that i'm uncomfortable...not so narrow that i feel squeezed in. perfect, actually.Cons:- no headrest, but i knew that when i bought this chair. a headrest would be nice, but chairs with them are typically quite a bit more expensive. if you want to spend $300 on a cheaply built, fake leather "gaming chair" with a headrest, feel free...but for me, a better quality chair without the headrest is better.- a bit of creak and squeak. this is unavoidable no matter how much you spend, though. my boss has a $1400 leather chair in his office, and even that squeaks. i put a little WD-40 on it, and the squeak is gone. you may have to reapply it during the winter months, when it's very dry indoors.- the arms are plastic, not metal. be VERY careful about putting weight on the arms, or they'll probably crack. my wife always sits in chairs with her legs folded under her, and she tends to lift herself up on the arms to tuck her legs under...and this chair didn't like that. if you need something heavy duty, get a chair with metal arms.- the box is huge and heavy. if you have back problems or you're a tiny person, be ready to ask for help lifting and carrying it, because it's bulky and heavy.all in all, i'm pleased with this chair. i looked at probably 50 others, and i'm not disappointed by this one. i'd prefer metal arms, but until i'm prepared to spend about $150 more, this chair will suffice.

NOT ALL BOLTS LINED UP WITH HOLES
i'M A SENIOR CITIZEN. ASSEMBLED ALL BUT ARMS. HAD TO HAVE HELP WITH ATTACHING ARMS TO BACK. EVEN THEY HAD TROUBLE BUT FINALLY GOT IT TOGETHER. SEEMS ONE OF THE INSERTS FOR THE BOLTS IN THE SEAT BACK WAS INSTALLED WRONG. THE FABRIC OF THE BACK KEPT GETTING IN THE WAY OF THE BOLT. AFTER MUCH FINAGALING, THE CHAIR WAS FINISHED.

If You're Short - Read This Review!!!
I'll give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's too high for people of shorter stature. But really, 98% of all chairs are. I never order an office chair on-line, I usually go to a store to pick one out because of this. I'm 5'1". I see office chairs all the time for the "Big and Tall" but never any for the "Short and Small". Alas, I visited 4 office furniture suppliers in my area and couldn't find a single chair that allowed my feet to rest firmly on the floor. But I found a product on Amazon that is awesome! It's the "MySit 2.2" Stroke Office Chair Gas Lift Cylinder Replacement". It's $24.99 - but it works! I got one and used it in place of the gas cylinder that came with this chair and now the chair is perfect! It dropped the height of the seat by 2-3 inches. When this chair wears out and I get a new one, I'll save the gas cylinder and use it on my next chair. It's removable. I wish I'd discovered something like this years ago! And when it finally gives up the ghost, I'll buy another one. Now that I have one, I won't be so seriously limited in my choice of office chairs ever again! I should state at this point that I'm not affiliated with the MYSit Company in any way. I'm just short LOL! And now for the chair: Now that it fits, I love it! The seat has a nice spring to it. I wish it tilted a bit more, but maybe it just needs breaking in. The upholstery is very soft against the skin, not cold like the newer fake leathers. The padding on the arms is nice and cushy, not hard. I'd recommend the chair for folks who don't like mesh or fake leather. But if you're short - get one of those MySit gas cylinders! You won't regret it! π

Affordable Soft Desk Chair
Assembly was straight forward. However once completed it felt like the chair leaned a little forward? So I engineered a little and used large rubber feet and a metal to gain some lift on the two front bolts which gave it about a 1/4β boost (see my 2nd photo). That did the trip and it feels like the seat itself is flat. I actually had seen this in another review as well. The chair is soft to sit in and for provides adequate lumbar support. I am a 200 lb. Man and work from home so at the end of the day I donβt have any back pain. My last chair had a higher back where this one does not so I had to get used to that but no big deal. This was an open box from Amazon for a cost under $100. Great buy tconsidering so many office chairs are ridiculously expensive. Even new this chair would be worth it!

Very satisfied with the Chair
The chair is comfortable and I am completely satisfied with this purchase. The only thing that some people might not like is the back does not adjust. I find I don't set with my back supported but always lean forward when I am at the computer. I knew this before I ordered so it doesn't make any difference for me that the back doesn't adjust.

Great chair
Really like the chair for the price and it's comfortable. I couldn't get one of the bolts in on the bottom of the chair (tried to loosen the other bolts). It still works but it makes a noise when I move sometimes. Still recommend it.

Requires dremel tool for assembly
Regret buying it. Loved the color and microfiber and fell for it when it was on sale. Got a cheaply made, borderline defective product. Like other buyers, got armerst holes not aligning with studs and had to use dremel to file some plastic off. Overall the chair fells flimsy. The back bends if a heavy person sits back. Now that a few weeks passed, the whole chair is squeaking: armrests, seat, hinge and whatnot. Annoying as hell.A few months later, downgrading to 1* because the rolling feet now wiggle and wobble in their holes.

Really comfortable chairs but stains easily
I had bought this chair to replace another chair that had broke, and I'm loving it so far! Really comfortable and I use it at my pc for gaming. Liked it so much we ordered a second one!I love this chair but it gets easily stained. Tried washing it and it makes the stains worse. So far other chairs even fabric chairs have been easier to clean than this. The tan one is horrible, but the grey is less noticeable.
