Is this suitable for auto engine wiring harnesses, will it withstand the heat?

This is not "heat resistant" wire loom, but its perfect for automotive wiring harnesses. It will withstand engine bay heat just fine; that's mainly what I use it for.

Is this loom UV rated?

I do not know. We used it inside to wrap our TV cables. My understanding is that UV protection is for outside use.
