Wonderful book on natural healing
This is a great guide for taking a natural approach to treating common ailments without having to reaching into the medicine cabinet or going to the doctor for prescription medicines. It is well written, easy to read and is packed full of cost effective alternative solutions on natural and herbal medicines.I am always looking for a natural approach to healing without the side effects of chemicals and I recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a more holistic approach to their life. Highly recommended.

Handy for those who like alternative therapies
I thought this book was insightful, and while some of the remedies are common knowledge, many are not. It was nice to have recipes with amounts of the ingredients provided.I think this book could use another round of editing- I often thought maybe the writer was translating this from another language as some phrases didn't quite make sense or read correctly. Some things were completely wrong (wreck havoc, whopping cough), there were vague directions (do this for a number of weeks), and often the sentences didn't flow. I would also have liked info on where to obtain some of the more obscure ingredients.Overall, I think this is a handy book to have if you are into alternative therapy and the writing is clear enough that you could follow the directions.

Useful remedies book
This book is very useful. The homemade recipes are not hard and they really save my money. Sometimes it's good to do these by yourself. There are many recipes and they are divided into each types of problems. This is very easy to read. I recommend this book to those who are having health problems or those who want to avoid health problems in the future.

Looks pretty useful, clearly written
Looks pretty useful, clearly written, some useful ideas. But there is no information about the author, and no citations to reference material. (Example, page 63, for Omega-3 Fatty Acids: "Research states ... ". What research? Who did the research?) If you are giving health advice, it seems like we should know something of your background and your sources of information. And $12.99 for 83 pages? Not exactly a bargain.

Lots of helpful and actionable info
This book has a lot of helpful and detailed info on how to cure minor ailments. I found the section on bloating and gas particularly helpful as I tend to eat a lot of fat. That alone was well worth the price of the book for me. I highly recommend it.

Its not a bad basic reference material but overall it was pretty lacking
This was very short with no real new information. If you have done any research at all regarding 'natural treatments' or 'natural cures' you will know most of these already. I was hoping to read something about curing a sinus infection but got nothing. Neti pot, duh. Its not a bad basic reference material but overall it was pretty lacking, in my opinion.

Change your life
What a wonderful book on very popular ailments and how one can help oneself in a green and environmentally friendly way that is good for body and soul. It was so good that when I picked it up I didn't stop until I had read the whole book.
