Best fan ever, but HOW DO YOU WASH THIS THING?
I absolutely love the Bionair BW2300 and have owned three in the past 20 years. The first one from Costco lasted 10 yrs, the others from Amazon, 8 and 5 (blades become brittle and break in the washing process). It is pretty quiet, compared to others, and has a decent exhaust flow. (I only use these as an exhaust).I have two issues with the fan, actually the complaint is probably about all fans out there that I have seen thus far for under $60.1. I have the fan on exhaust 24/7 all year round in my kitchen. Because there is no way to "close" the back of the fan, when it is windy or raining, I have to physically remove the fan from the window, which is a pain, since summer time I place it all the way up on top of the window (10ft above the floor) to be able to use the bottom part of the window. It would be a great feature if the back of the fan could be "closed".2. OMG.... cleaning this product is a major project! First you need to unscrew several parts of the fan, multiple screws, multiple components. Then you have to force the side guards open, which is very tricky and may result in broken parts. Then, the entire aggregate has to fit into some tub to be washed. With age, blades and other plastic parts become brittle and extra care needs to be taken not to break the blades. And then try putting this back together... lolOn top of this all, there is no way to wash the fan without getting the electrical component wet. As a result, I leave mine for about a day to dry, to make sure that it does not short.....I have 20 yrs of experience dealing with this specific Bionair fan model, and continue to buy them because of the power and the quietness. However, thinking about cleaning the fan gives me a heartburn lol.By the way, it looks like Aspen came out with a construction that simplifies the cleaning process. I am contemplating on switching, and will eventually try Aspen once I break another blade during the cleaning process. Hopefully Aspen will be as strong and as quiet as the Bionair. Waiting for a discount, as the $100 price tag is just too steep for me at this time, and I still have some $20 loud and rarely used fans stored in my closet. Probably should "use them up" first.

Dont fry bacon naked.
Good fan. Moves a good amount of air in the direction you want it. I bought mine refurbished and it's been runnin non stop since I unpackaged it. The 4 stars and not five is because I had to take it apart and fix one of the props from rubbing something on the inside when on the high speed. Just a small adjustment and tightening of both props a smidgen more and it was all good. I recommend this fan.

It moves air and the noise isn't terrible
I use this in my game room to keep good airflow as my PC creates some good heat. The one thing that I am most confused by is they claim there is a remote, but mine did not come with a remote. Due to where I place it, I don't need the remote, but if I move the fan, it'll create an annoyance as it did claim a remote.

Excellent fan for relatively narrow windows
I don't have any complaints with the fan, it supports intake and exhaust without flipping around, seems durable enough, makes little noise beyond what is expected and the remote is quite handy.

Works well
Cools the room quickly. Only downside is you have to purchase extenders to cover entire window height

unit is poorly made. failed
the fan failed 2 weeks after i started using it. bought in feb 2019 and deadline to return was may 2019. word to the wise, don't buy a seasonal item like this fan until the season arrives. i did not run the fan in the spring so i lost my chance to return it.

Great fan, worth the money!
I have 2 of these fans now. So easy to use. Set the temp and choose your settings. I prefer the exchange setting on low most of the time. Shuts off when it hits the right temp. Not as loud as most fans. Works very nicely, worth the extra money!
