Excellent Book
THis book includes a selection of simple and more complex pop up designs. The complex designs look daunting but the author spends time at the beginning in advising on tools and buying the right paper/card and other materials. He then shows the basics of techniques such as folding and cutting. Worth time taken as the fresults are reall good.

This is a wonderful book
It's more of a detailed but practical reference book on the techniques used for making pop-ups. There are lots of drawings and photographs to guide, with some beautiful designs. Not for a child (although an older child (say 11+) who is really interested in this subject could probably follow the instructions) but great for an adult to work through and then to share the techniques. Thoroughly recommended.

THe POP up Book
The book is interesting and it has some designs which you can have a go at. However I would have expected some templates at the back for guidance. I had a go at the bird and though it was ok , it had been all guesswork. Just a small sketch under each photo would have been more helpful.

a comprehensive guide to pop up creations
I thought it would be more about creating cards although some of the designs can be incorporated in pop up cards.I found that although everything is well explained, it is definitely not for the beginner. Would recommend the book to the more proficient!

Good book for a beginner
Very much like pop-up design and paper mechanic by duncan birmingham but with more pictures from different authors of pop-up. It is a good reference book for a beginner but I think there are better ones out there.
