Sublime tea
Absolutely stunning tea, best I've every drank. Initially bought the taster box (with different teas) and this one tastes superb. Real leaves, not "dust", I thought Twinning's tea was good but that that is now a thing of the past.

Best tea I've ever drank!
Firstly, before you even drink the tea Vadham have gone above and beyond to make sure it arrives in optimal condition. There are 2 vacuum sealed packets of tea so you can consume one while keeping the second fresh. Each packet lasts a surprisingly long time as you only need a teaspoonful for a mug of tea so knowing there will be zero deterioration on the second packet is a definite bonus. Furthermore your tea comes with a sealable pouch that you can tip your tea into after opening to retain optimal flavour. I use a mason jar & keep the tea in a cupboard so it doesn't get direct light cos I usually have 2 a day & this works better for me. The packet comes with a handy adhesive label if this is the route you also wish to take. Vadham recommend boiling the tea in milk for that tchai latte drink but I cannot stand milk so I boil the tea in water & sweeten with honey (never sugar) and sometimes a wedge of lime. Absolutely delicious!! Just the right blend of spice to elevate standard British Rail tea to another level of nirvana. This is my third time ordering this tea & I can confidently say it is totally on a different level to supermarket offerings. I don't drink any other tea now, thank you Vadham.PS. I use this tea with the infuser from Hauspfrofi which I also got on Amazon & would also recommend.

Great taste
Why did you choose this product over others?:Really nice-tasting drink with clean ingredients. The downside is that it is slightly costlier than other variants. I had purchased the same brand product from India, which costs about one-fourth the price on Amazon UK.

Excellent. Just not my cuppa.
I'm giving it five even though I don't like it. Too strong for me. But it is exceptional quality if you're into green tea and it's health benefits. Glad to have tried it but I'll stick with my Sideritis instead.

Disgusting taste of matcha mixed with vanilla custard
The VAHDAM Matcha with vanilla is disgusting. It’s made with 50% vanilla powder and tastes like Birds Vanilla custard mixed with Matcha powder. It smells like it too, vanilla custard mixed with matcha and is completely offensive. Very unlike a previous matcha tea I had purchased with vanilla. One word, vile.

It's ok. It's certainly not 'World's finest' as claimed.
This tea is ok. It's not bad and I am sure the company is producing the best produce it can for the money. But to claim it is the world's best is nonsense.Firstly, it is not long leaf in my opinion. The leaves are generally less than 1cm long along with a fair bit of powder and that is from a new unhandled pouch. I have emptied the last contents of an unbranded, no-fanfare pouch of tea that we have had for more than a year, that has been handled so many times, with ample opportunity for the leaves to break if they were going to and most of the leaves are more than 2cm long.Secondly, the flavour is just not there. When I opened the packet I was not hit with that 'chai' smell tea drinkers love. It was a fairly bland aroma. With the quality of packaging (foil laminate etc) that is available today there is no reason why aroma should escape. My 1 year old bag with just 1 gram remaining in it still smells much stronger than this freshly opened tea. But I gave the tea a try anyway as advised at 2g per 200ml of water. After 5 minutes there was very litle taste. After a few tries I managed to get an acceptable brew with 4 grams per 200ml and 8 minutes of brewing. For those who use teabags (that includes me sometimes), this tea is still better than a teabag, even a good quality one, but somehow I just feel we are often tricked with food and drink in the UK. Maybe it's the push for ever cheaper food that has pushed quality down in so many products. Try a loose leaf tea at a home in eastern Europe or Russia and you won't believe how much better it tastes than what we get sold here in Britain these days.Another commenter mentioned 'the smell they remember when their granny made tea'. That encapsulates it neatly. It used to be so easy to get a good cup of tea - Not anymore.Sorry but I am sending this back.On the photo you'll see a standard Yorkshire teabag on the left, this product in the middle and my 'local shop' unbranded tea from Sochi on the right. You can see the difference in leaf length. You can also see the extra volume of the leaves after brewing at the top of picture.
