I am so thrilled! This book was a staple around our household as a growing youth. My parents used to teach us that if we ate the right food and less unhealthy processed types, we'd stay healthy! Somehow It disappeared, then...when I was about 18 years of age I repurchased another...suffices to say; that one too disappeared!!Seller...THRIFTBOOKS; you've made me so happy by sending me a 'HEIRLOOM BACK TO EDEN COPY'!!! Hardcover...I was totally SURPRISED! Back to Eden is a great book for all your health needs a must have book.

My parents were born in 1903 and had an early edition hard copy of this book. People depended on home remedies as suggested in this book because going to a doctor was not always so easy or even possible depending on where you lived.It was called being resourceful to survive and this book helped people do that. There was much more rural America then today and far fewer doctors and hospitals probably only in the big cities.I remember being taken to the doctor for an injury as a child in the late 1940's, there was the doctor and his receptionist, that was it, You paid cash on the way out!I thought it would be great to revisit the old remedies that my parents used but i found them to difficult to deal with because many of the listed ingredients are not commnly available. Some of the teas however are never out dated.

Good book. Think that’s why my neighbor had it and I wasn’t sure where my package was for a week. Glad he returned it though

I had a copy years ago and wanted to have another, and is still as good to see. Well worth having for it has various self help treatments on offer such as dietary information, water cure, compresses, massage, as well as herbs, medical trees, how to preserve herbs and much else. The seller is recommendable as the service was of good quality.

good book,but very old book condition of the book is not good

i ordered a hard cover copy of this book and received a soft cover copy of the book...so it was not as advertised... but the paperback was in decent shape but still not a hard cover copy.... so not satisfied
