I am an herbalist and collect books in this category. It arrived on time and in very good condition. If you are like me, this would be a great addition to your library. Sometimes older ways and simple things can save a trip to the doctor. The author covers not only suggestions for treating different conditions but goes on to explain why. An example would be why it is good to chew food well before swallowing. The digestive process starts in the mouth and saliva helps to break down and make it easier for the body to digest the food for maximum absorption of nutrients. A really great and handy little book.

This item was not packaged properly. The original wrapping was destroyed during shipping, and the book cover + pages were gouged down @ 1/2", rendering it unusable. It came to me in a USPS padded envelope with no return address.Emailed the seller on two (2) occassions. No response at all.

Book was nicer than I expected.

This book is a bit dangerous, especially for the novice herbalist or forger. There is little in the way of specific measurements, much is attributed to God. The text is pretty pregnant with lots of unnecessary verbiage making the text alarmingly confusing. Author makes some pretty amazing claims. Author using a wine glass for measurements in many applications, many others have no dosage at all. When I first saw this book, I was amazed it had been printed. Please, if you purchase this book, purchase books which are more recent and have more specific details on dosage etc.

A must have for the herbalist book shelf, excellent reference, always want it within reach. Should be part of the required reading list for the Herbal student or anyone who wants to know more about our green allies.
