I bought this clock to replace one I had and disliked. This particular clock fits in my bedroom perfectly and to date keeps time very well and I can't ask for more than that. I also want to compliment whoever packed this item for shipment for I do believe a small bomb could have gone off next to it and it would have been fine. Great clock and great service.

Has no back cover--as a wall clock might not. Uses one AA battery--instructions warn against using alkaline batteries, recommending carbon-zinc (what is that). I put in a lithium battery--hope it doesn't wreck the very ordinary, plastic-housed mechanism. Looks big for eight inches--quite legible in a room. Made in China, despite its "name."

I wanted an unobtrusive clock for the living room. This works well but is rather smaller than I envisioned it. It's nice looking but nothing special. A very Okay clock that works fine.

Clock is nice, stands on it's own, and seems to function fine. (No ticking sound, just a smooth sweep). But could someone tell the manufacturer not to put a difficult to remove sticker on the FACE of the clock? Really easy to scratch face, and or leave difficult to remove residue when taking it off.

I really love this clock!! The numbers are large so it's easy to read across the room and it's super quiet. I gave brightness a one star only because it's not illuminated...and that was another reason I bought it... didn't want anything that lit up (I prefer very dark room while sleeping).
