There's no heel slip with these socks. The roll on the top back heel keep them in place with absolutely no discomfort. In fact, you don't even feel the roll! I also appreciate the padding on the bottom of the socks. Some socks say they're padded, but they're still very thin. These are definitely padded, but not so much that it makes your shoe fit tight. They're absolutely perfect low profile athletic socks. You're supposed to wash them inside out (I assume to keep the padded part fluffy), which I do. It's a little extra work, but for sock that fit this well, I'll extend myself!

It’s great to wear these socks for a work out because they protect my feet from rubbing against my running shoes. Some reviews say these socks are too thick, but I think the thickness is perfect. I have been buying Thorlo socks for about 30 years. They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and they hold up for many years (10+years in my case) if you wash them correctly by turning them inside out and using fabric softener.

I keep reordering. I'm not a runner, mores the pity. I'm and old lady who runs around the house in her stocking feet all day and these are nice and cushy!

My friend who runs marathons recommended this brand. Really like the quality and the cushion they give me. Also they are low cut so don’t stick up out of my shoe much which I also appreciate. Worth the $.

The back of the sock is easy to stay above back of the shoe. It doesn't slide down EVER. Second time buying these. Worth the price. Solid and soft. I keep them until I wear through holes on the bottoms.

These are great socks to wear with sneakers- stay in place, soft and fit is perfect. Wash well and last a long time. You will love them.

Love these Thorlo socks! Always used them for running, and now I’m using these roll tops for casual wearing too. Incredibly comfortable, and very long lasting. So glad I found them on Amazon! The price is much better!

I had hoped the ball of the foot would have more cushion to ease my metatarsal foot pain ( near base of toes) but it didn’t. But otherwise a very nice but pricey sock.
