Will leave you wanting another
Amazingly light. Incredible swing feel with weight in the head only. Fantastic when used as a swinging axe into steep technical terrain. Hand rest makes a much more secure feeling. Only downside is short length and small head make gripping the top of the axe mountaineering style less ideal. If you plan to use it cane style on flat glaciers bring another axe. But if you’re going up steeper snow, you’ll soon be wishing you had another for both hands.

Picca eccellente, leggera e precisa, un tuttofare da avere sempre con se quando la pendenza aumenta e la neve si trasforma in ghiaccio. Fino a 60° (forse per quelli bravi anche di più) fa il suo dovere e nonostante il peso ridotto l'infissione della becca è facile e precisa già dal primo colpo. Consigliata per l'alpinismo tecnico, leggero e veloce

Hervorragender Eispickel
Ich habe mir das Petzl Gully als Schaufelversion für das technische Bergsteigen bestellt und wurde beim ersten Test in den Alpen nicht enttäuscht.Die Spitze und die Zähne der Haue sind spitz & scharf genug um problemlos in Eis einzudringen.Die verstellbare Fingerauflage gefällt mir an diesem Modell besonders, da ich darüber den Eispickel auf die Gegebenheiten des Geländes bzw. der Klettertechnik anpassen kann.Das Gully ist mit seinen 280g sehr leicht und kann dadurch problemlos generell als Backup zu Touren mitgenommen werden, um die Sicherheit am Berg zu erhöhen.Ich kann diesen Eispickel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen
