The life of a school student is rough. In a world of rough seas, the sole means of survival is a good pair of headphones. Music is the saver of sanity and a barrier between idiots and loss of sleep. As a result of needing to hide them, take them away quickly, and transport them often, I often lose a lot of earbuds in the war quickly. They just cannot handle the stress of being pulled out of pockets, folded up, or used. With finals week coming up quicker, my desperation for cheap earbuds was essential. I went to amazon and these were among the first I found. The reviews seemed good and it was less than $10 so I bought it. They then showed up rather quickly. I honestly didn't get that good of a look at them before I bought them. But, when they arrived, I was thoroughly impressed. They were sleek. And the magnetics helped keep them untangled. This sleek masterpiece was a gift. While my $30 Walmart headphones broke after three months of use, I've had these for almost three years now. The earbuds are just now starting to get a short in them and they still work great. It's like the problems sort themselves out. I intend to buy another pair shortly, but truly these are the best thing you could buy with one Hamilton. You could give them out for Christmas gifts (I did!). You could pass them down to your grandchildren. These could be what's left of humanity after a nuclear war. For sure, they are durable enough to. Seriously, never go back to any other type of earbud. This is the only real winner anymore. Now, you could read this and still think: hmmm...beats or skull would be better....maybe you are right. I wouldn't know I'm poor. But with these, I have never had to guess about quality. And, if they do break within a year, I can buy 10 more for the one pair of beats you bought. I ran a mile with these on and they never fell out of my ear, but most importantly they blocked out the anxiety of others looking at me running in last place. The sound quality is excellent. Do not be stupid. Being stupid would be not buying these. It's worth $8. That's like two Starbucks coffees. You can do it. It's not a financial burden. And you don't need to take out a loan or starve yourself for three weeks to afford it.

Very good value! I'm please with this purchase so far. I do hear the subtle lower quality of the sound that other reviewers mentioned, but I still gave 5 stars because you get what you pay for. Can't beat the price, and yet the sound quality is still good in my opinion. I'm not interested in fancy earphones cause I always end up losing them or treating them so poorly that I cause them to break. Plus the look and feel of the product bumps it up in stars for me.

Not sure they’re noise canceling, but they work fine, last a long time (all wired ear buds fray at cord and die eventually), and are quite comfortable, due to 3 sizes of pliable covers to fit in your ears.

they're a good basic pair of earbuds. they do have a little remote with a mic and volume control, so that's nice. however, if you tend to be a little careless like i am, these might not be the earbuds for you. they snapped the day after i got them, so i returned them and got a replacement. i guess i'll just have to be a bit more careful hahasound-wise, they're okay, but don't expect any kind of bass boosted, noise canceling technology. they do their job of putting sound through and that's it. after a few uses i started to notice a subtle fuzzy static sound whenever i plug them in, but once i start playing something through them it isn't noticeable. they fit comfortably in the ear and the design is nice as well.i paid $10 for these, but i honestly would price these a little lower. however, it isn't a terrible pair of earbuds. i would recommend you keep looking around for something a little more high quality, but if you're set on getting these then there's no harm in doing so!

I got these on November 12th, and they've been pretty finicky. They wouldn't work in one ear, but if I jostle them around, they would. But, just today (November 22nd, same year), they completely stopped working in one ear. Also, there was a constant buzz in one of the ears that gave me constant headaches. Also, the "volume control" goes from straight On to Off, which makes it useless. The Microphone button was also a bit too small to work well for me.Overall: While the sound quality was good, these didn't even last a full month! I would not recommend getting these, as cool as they look.

I've been having these headphones for about a month now and haven't had any issues with them.Before buying these, my headphones didn't have a mic or volume control, so these are definitely a step up!The sound quality has more bass than my other headphones, which isn't overwhelming either, and the material around the wires make it easier to detangle them.The only complaint I have are the earbuds: Even the smallest ones are a little big for my ears, but I kinda have small ear anyway, and they are a bit tough to put on when switching out the earbuds.Other than that, these headphones are awesome, and the price only makes it even better.

The sound quality is definitely great for the price BUT i bought these because my old earphones had been misplaced and running without music just isn't that fun. These earphones suck for that purpose. I basically had to run with my hands to my ears because one side would fall off, and then the other, and then both until I finally gave up (two minutes in, I might add) and just decided to awkwardly run holding them. Would not buy again or recommend for people who want them for more versatile purposes.

I sent these to my son at college. He wanted a set of wired earbuds since his Bluetooth earbuds were using up the battery. He said the sound was amazing and he didn't believe me when I told him how inexpensive they were. He said the bass was decent and he loved the magnetic feature. To top it off they actually look cool. I am ordering a few more pair as my kid loses earbuds all the time.
