Over the last decade, the Tai Chi for Arthritis program has touched over one milllion lives. People with or without arthritis have gained better health and enjoyment from practising it. Part 2 is ideal for those who have completed the original program and are looking for a more challenging course. Designed to learn as though you are attending Dr Lam"s class, the 2009 edition teaches both sides of the Part 2 movements in an innovative format. Combining over a decade of teaching and research experience, Dr Lam incorporates the tai chi principles in his teaching to enhance your skill and deepen your understanding Review: Great resource for learning this form - Another excellent dvd that has helped me feel more confident in learning this form both in & out of the classroom. I don't have arthritis but I love doing Tai Chi & have the opportunity to take this class in addition to a 24 form class. I find the movements very calming & centering and I can focus more on the flow of it. It is very gentle and to me not as physically challenging as some forms which would an be advantage if you have physical joint limitations. If you have never done any Tai Chi or you don't have access to a class to learn it I would recommend that you try Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis - 12 lessons first. If you are already familiar with some Tai Chi movements & have an arthritis Tai Chi class you might be fine with just this DVD. The sequence for the 1st 12 lessons is contained in this DVD as part of lesson 1 & I find it easy to follow. It is not taught - just a demo as focus is on the new additional forms. Review: Excellent instruction from the creator of the form. - I am currently taking a class in this tai chi form at my fitness club. My teacher studied with Dr. Lam. This video was recommended by my teacher and it is very helpful as a home study supplement to the class. In this video, Dr. Lam teaches the more difficult part 2 of Tai Chi for Arthritis. He details the correct way of moving with the proper weight transfer for each step. That is important for a sound foundation in understanding and practicing the form. It also helps me slow down so I don't push through the steps too quickly. I definitely recommend this video as a follow up to Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 1.

Continuation of the first DVD
It’s a literal continuation of the first DVD, Tai Chi for Arthritis 1, just spliced and placed onto a third disc (the tai chi1 is two discs). Excruciatingly slow instruction though somewhat sped up from the first DVD. DO NOT purchase if you haven’t done the first DVD, you’ll be hopelessly lost.

A great Tai Chi form for those with some physical issues
A great Tai Chi form for those with some physical issues. It is one of the best instructional videos I have ever seen. It is easy to follow, detailed and each step is broken down into small lessons. Ideally, you would use this as a spport to instruction taken in a Tai Chi for Arthritis class but could be used by yourself at home.

Got Arthritis? - This works!
Excellent self-help course, the instruction is very detailed and repeated so you can learn. The system is gentle and if you are diligent in sticking with learning it and practicing, you will have more flexibility, balance and less pain.

Terrific!!
Dr. Paul Lam is a wonderful, gentle teacher who really love Tai Chi and it radiates from him. I have arthritis in all my joints and was able to do this entire program (as well as part 1 in a previous DVD). Very easy to follow and very informative. Just love it.

A real challenge.
I have the original Tai Chi for Arthritis program and it is fantastic. This addition is really a workout, mentally and physically. To put this in context, I am 72 years old and have always been active but arthritis and age were taking a toll and I needed something that stimulated but also protected my joints and muscles and stimulated my brain. This program added to the first Tai Chi for Arthritis DVD does just that. My concentration has gotten a real boost , my physical activity has really improved and the program is so subtle you don't realize how much good you are getting out of it. Recently I worked in my garden for several hours and instead of ending in bed with hot and cold packs and pills I felt fine and didn't even hurt the next day. Bring it on weeds! With Dr. Lam's DVD, I'm ready!!

He explains it very good, step by step. The DVD is classified into 6 lessons. In each lesson there is a warming up, a review of the past lessons, learning the new forms of that lesson, and a run through the whole new lesson + cool down. All separate to click. Very well explained, now i can practice at home what we've learned in the tai chi lessons. I only done the first 2 lessens so far, so can't tell if it's good for my health yet.
