Everything great, at first I thought it was a bad pump but it was just air in the system. Be sure you remove it turning your steering wheel all the way to the right and all the way to the left for several times!

Bosch is widely regarded as the best reman pump for the 1st gen Mini Coopers and this is the best price I could find. Another nice thing is that Amazon did not require the old one as a core. Installed in less than an hour and my power steering is back to full function.

Swapped this pump into my 06 Mini Cooper S after the original one failed about 3 months ago and so far it has held up well, make sure to use CHF 11S power steering and hydraulic fluid with this pump if you want it to last, it's pricey fluid compared to the cheap stuff but worth it in the long run. Auto parts stores were asking around 5-600$ For this pump with the core fee and I think I payed around 350 for this one, it would be nice to be able to return the core to the seller but you can recycle it yourself as well.

Just left the mechanic and he said that this power steering pump is toast. Only lasted 3 years.
