Edit: I think the issues I've had with this hub are not unique to this brand. I've tried a replacement from another company and eventually it exhibited the same behavior of crashing the network if left connected to power, but disconnected from the laptop. Possibly they use the same chipset?Edit: I've actually found a problem with this HUB. When using a charger and connected to ethernet, but disconnected from the MacBook Pro, it ends up flooding the network switch with traffic. It took a month to diagnose why our network was failing every evening. I actually replaced the switch and the modem before realizing the problem was the hub. The engineer from AT&T suggested it was flooding the router's NAT table, so routing eventually stopped every night.-------I've been using this adaptor with a MacBook Pro for 6 weeks now with absolutely no issues. I use the GigE connection and the HDMI connection five days a week with absolutely no issues at all. I haven't tried charging anything using it so I can't comment on that.

The FlePow USB Type C Hub is going to be very handy. I currently don’t have anything that uses USB-C but know that everything I will buy in the future will be using this type of connection and I want to be ready for it, especially after I get my new MacBook! I connected this to a newer laptop at work and found that it was easy to use. I did not have to follow the directions that were provided. I am really impressed with the different options available with this hub. It has three separate USB 3 ports which can be used with a flash drive or wireless mouse, keyboard or HDMI display. The small size is perfect for connecting all my devices without taking up a lot of space on my desk. I love the fact that this hub is able to connect to a projector. I present at conferences and this will make my set-up much easier to deal with. The small size and light weight of this hub makes it easy to travel with. I like that I can also plug my phone into the device. I am impressed that this is compatible with both PC and Mac. I use a PC at work and a Mac at home and it is convenient to have a hub that will work no matter what computer I end up on.This is the second product I have purchased from FlePow. I have found that their customer service is excellent. The communication is fast, thorough and friendly. Products were received quickly and as promised. I highly recommend this product. You get a lot of connectability for the price.

If you have a usb C port, this is a great hub to use. It comes with 3 USB ports (3.0 I might add, not the cheaper and older 2.0 version), another USB C port on there in case you have additional USB C ports to use to charge something, ethernet adapter (which is amazing to have if you want great and steady connection rather than spotty wifi), and an HDMI port to connect another monitor if you wanted!Sleek and small design, great to carry around with your laptop. Will be using this whenever I go on business trips as my laptop only has a couple USB slots and having that ethernet adapter is a great addition.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this USB C Multiport Adapter to use as Dock for my desktop wired ethernet, HDMI monitor, keyboard, mouse and as a USB 3 expansion to add more ports.This was super easy to use. Despite having directions I did not use them. Instead I just plugged this in to my USB C port and away it went. Adding devices in to windows to expand USB and an Ethernet NIC etc...Now I can leave my home office peripherals plugged in to this and just hook up a single connection to may laptop and be in business!The 3 USB 3 ports are on one side and are probably too close together to connect 3 USB drives. However, a USB cable to a peripheral and the two USB drives I connected worked just fine.I tested every port, even the USB C "Charging" port above the cable to the computer. I was able to power something with it but it does not provide data connection that I could tell.My laptop is not 4K so I got a warning message that i might not be able to use it to its fullest potential in windows 10. I attached an image of that message.I tried the HDMI port to my TV and attached a photo of that showing the laptop playing a file from a flash drive plugged in to the adapter and then playing out the HDMI port in the adapter to my TV.I transferred a large file to the laptop from the Ethernet port and found the transfer rates to be excellent.I tested transfer speeds to an internal USB 3 port to a flash drive and then to a USB 3 port on the adapter and found the speeds to be the same. Photos are attached.All in all this is a small form factor USB C "Dock" for my computer that works very well and does the job I bought it to do so 5 stars from me!
