Champion EasyHit 3.0mm Diameter Shotgun Sight

I have 5 of these sighting systems on my various shotguns and I can tell you that they make a huge difference in my shooting performance. The whole key to shooting a shotgun is to keep your eye on the target while having sight awareness in your secondary vision. If your sights are too dull or dark in apperance you'll have trouble keeping track of your sights especially on dark days. Like hunting or target shooting when cloudy. These sights are bright and stand out making them very noticable when you are looking past them at your target. Problem is, you may have a tendency to look at your sights which is taboo when shooting a shotgun. But, if you can get past that, it's good gunning from there on. as a kid I learned to shoot with both eyes open,YES it took a little time to be able to ignore the double image that eventually became non existent, I'm and old fart now and the teeny tiny little OEM brass bead is getting more and more difficult to see along with following the target, so I resorted to shooting just by instinct, witch sucked! Installed this sight with ease and BAM! now I am in full focus on the moving target and the green dot lets me know where my aim is without even trying! Be careful how you store your firearm if it is in a gun bag to not drag it out of the bag hole go ahead and unzip all the way down to remove the gun, I keep mine in a hard case so no problem there..

This is my second one, the first was a 2.5mm, I recommend the 3mm. The reason I am giving this a 4 is that if you bang the site on anything, like I did on first day of use dove hunting, climbing under a horse fence, it cracked the filament midway and it fell out. I found it and glued it back in but it only had 1/2 the light catching capability because of the break and why I bought the second one. I recommend putting a small drop of crazy glue in a couple of holding brackets so that if you do this you don't lose the filament altogether. Otherwise, it is quite helpful in getting proper alignment for a shot, especially when busting quail when you are snap shooting and can easily line up high or to the side before pulling the trigger and then missing. It also does a great job capturing light in low light conditions, gives you a bright spot vs the old metal bead.

I have bought 7 of the Champion EasyHit's over the past 2 years. I have them on 3 guns that I shoot (Trap, Sporting Clays, Hunting). Most of the guys on my trap team have switched to these as well (that's where the other 4 went). I prefer the larger 3.0mm. I do have one teammate who uses the 2.5mm but my theory is bigger is always better ;) No one has had any issue with the glue. The one on my Benelli has had the most use hunting and I haven't had any issues in the nearly 2 years it has been on my gun. We all shoot with the 5" sight. Our thought is the longer the fiber optic is the brighter it will be at dusk. (For trap) Most of us are using the Green fiber optic. One guy is using the orange. Our though is the green is better than the orange for trap and sporting clays due to the clay birds getting lost in the orange fiber color. I have a friend who said the orange is best for a hunting situation but I still prefer the green.

I tried this out on a sporting clays range a couple of weeks ago, and I have no complaints at all. I do think that I need to be careful with it when sliding the gun into its case, or leaning the barrel against the wooden stand while waiting my turn. It is not screwed on, and if it were to get scraped off, then I would be the one screwed ! But it didn't happen, and it worked great. If I were smart I would buy a second one as a backup if it did come off. The thing I like best about it is that when that clay flies, there is no time or brain power at all devoted to finding the sight. It is there for you all lit up. I really like eliminating any distractions when I want to hit that danged clay, and this really helps that. I am not cross-dominant, but I can certainly see how it would help me if I was. I like it.

As a duck hunter, I hunt in low light areas and this sight works great. It looks like there is a little green flashlight sitting on the end of my barrel. Point that light and what ever your target is and you will hit it. I read a lot of reviews of people saying the same thing, and so I wanted to tray the sight out, it did not disappoint. I have a spring loaded thrower and use to struggle when I would release two targets at the same time. With the Champion Easy Hit site I am able to acquire and break both targets with ease. This site has helped improve my shooting. I would highly recommend the EasyHit to anyone. I have never felt the need to review a product on Amazon, but this is one product that deserves the review.

The product picture and described are two different products. Very deceptive advertising. Almost like bait and switch. Will buy direct form manufacturer next time as they have the same price and better service. At least they know what they are selling and ship the correct product.

I can only say the product did not work for what I wanted,I do not have eye dominance problems,if you do then this may work for you. In my case I gave it an honest try and it was easy to install,it did not fall off.My problem is I trap shoot and I sometimes lift my head and I was hoping this might help based on other reviews,I shot several hundred rounds with it and all my scores were lower than normal,I had difficulty focusing on the target as the bead was so bright it distracted me. This was just my experience, it may work fine for you and could be worth a try if you have eye dominance problems or other issues and their are far more expensive things to try for such problems and if it does not work for you just throw it away like I did,it did not hurt the finish on the rib or anything and it is easy to install nor will it fall off if installed properly but in my case it did not help,I just have to keep working on keeping my cheek on the stock.

Works amazing for those who have sighting issues. I love how it lights up bright when alligned. I can hit clays without hesitation now

I have this sight on 4 of my side by side shotguns and they work great and have never moved. Wipe the area with alcohol before applying and try to get it on straight the first try. Only thing negative is the price for what you get with all of these optic sights.

Works great for trap shooting with both eyes open. You can only see the sight color with the sighting eye.

This is a very high-vis sight that makes sighting the target easy and enables one to shoot with one eye open. The body if the sight is plastic. I'm not sure that was in the description or not. It wasn't a deal-breaker for me.
