The Mack Truck of Spin-Mops
ORIGINAL REVIEW - LEFT 11/11/2015I finally broke down and purchased this. I've been looking at this since February, 2015 and here it is November, 2015. My old spin mop (a brand that I purchased from QVC) finally started leaking badly. Frankly, I hate spending this amount of money for a spin mop w/bucket, but I could tell from the pictures and the feedback that this is quality product. I like the fact that a representative from the company (Anthony?) addresses issues/complaints. I have absolutely no problem with revising a review should a situation change -- I'm dating this review, in the event I should need to change it.So, I got my CycloMop delivery today - Two days early! Yay! -- Great Job, Seller -- That and the awesome packaging with awesome directions got you 5 stars on your Seller Review.Onto the product Review...Again, the directions were awesome. They were in color and step-by-step. But truly, I didn't need them (I did glance at them, though) , because I had reviewed your videos and the product is very simple. If I hadn't reviewed your product (or used a spin mop before), then I would have needed to refer to the directions. The mop, is far superior to the other spin-mop that I'm getting to throw away. You can tell by the weight of the mop itself and the length of the fibers on the mophead. The spin-mop that I'm getting ready to throw away feels as though it could bend if too much downward pressure were placed on it. The CycloMop is much, much more sturdy -- of course, time will tell, but I have a feeling that it will hold up very well. Nice Grips on the CycloMop as compared to the old Spin-Mop.The Bucket and its internal Spin mechanism: Heavy Duty... The old Spin-Mop (yeah, the one going in the trash) is made of thin blue plastic that gives when pushed by hand - the handle is somewhat flimsy. Seriously, this CycloMop is like a Mack Truck compared to a Yugo to my old Spin-Mop system. The internal Spinhead in the bucket on my old Spin-Mop was getting stripped, so it wasn't engaging the mop-head well...I really had to work it to get it to engage. I don't know if this will be a problem with the CycloMop....What I do know is that my own behavior (with the old mop), when I put the mop into the bucket, I didn't ensure the mophead was properly engaged onto the Spin mechanism, then spinning probably caused the the mechanism to start stripping. I paid alot of money for the CycloMop, so I'll take the time to ensure that I properly engage before spinning. Hey, it is a cause and effect world that we live in.I am extremely pleased with my purchase, even though it hurt in my pocket-book. But, if it prevents me from having to make other purchases down the road, then I have saved money. So far, I've used it twice today. I have two old dogs that have accidents. Anthony... I do have an idea for you that would be an add-on for people like me that have old dogs that they need to clean-up after their accidents. If you are interested in hearing, leave me a message.

It does what it says it will do
I bought this cylo mop on Dec 29, 23 and just got around to using it. I don't like to rush into things, ha ha.I had watched the video about putting it together and using it when I ordered it but it came with complete instructions. I did not use the instruction as they were not necessary after seeing the video. I was able to put it together easily and when I went to use it I remembered to put the mop handle in the upright position with my foot when I needed to rinse or spin the mop. The handle worked easily in changing positions. I love the adjustablility of the handle. When I needed to rinse or spin the mop the foot pedal to spin the mop worked easily. When I was finished mopping I used the pedal to spin the mop until I got the mop almost dry. There is a soft rubber rim around the bucket to keep it from scratching the wall or the tub. I used my tub to fill and empty the bucket. The drain worked well but I was in a hurry so tipped the bucket to completly empty it quickly. I then used my hand held shower head to rinse out the bucket. The bucket fits easily and securely on the dolly and the wheels turn easily. Only two of the wheels rotate and they are not the ones that lock. It would have been better for me if all four wheels lock but I pushed the bucket against the wall to secure it when I needed it to not roll. All parts are study and well manufactured fitting together easily. I never thought I would pay this much for a mop and bucket but it has paif for itself already with my first use.

I love this mop bucket.
This mop and bucket are fantastic. We have a large home with about 2000 sqft of wood floors. The cyclomop bucket with casters lets me drag the bucket around with the mop and saves my back from all the bending and lifting that I used to have to do to move the bucket around. It is also much quicker to get the floors done, knocking at least 20 minutes off the task.

Really Great Concept
This commercial spin mop system is an awesome concept. I do commercial cleaning and I use this system at 2 of my cleaning locations. The first unit I purchased, the bearings in the spin mechanism fell out. Cyclomop responded quickly and replaced the bucket. My customer service experience with them was exceptional. What I like about this is that the bucket is large enough to get the job done, but not too large to be bulky to handle. The drain at the bottom is convenient and works well and comes in very handy depending upon the sink situation you have. In my one location I have a floor mop basin and I usually just end up lifting the bucket out of the dolly and dumping it and using the faucet hose to rinse it out. I also really like the mop heads. The microfiber really picks up the dirt and holds onto it so you're not just spreading it around the floor. You can use either the mop handle or the foot pedal on the bucket to agitate the mop head in the wash chamber of the bucket or in the rinsing well. You have to pay attention to make sure the mop head is seated inside the spin mechanism inside the bucket or it won't spin. The rinse basket does a great job of wringing the mop head out. Want it wetter? Don't spin it as much. Want it drier? Give it a few more spins. In this regard, it's very versatile. However, the bottom of the mop handle is beginning to rust on me after about 7 months of weekly use. I never leave it submerged in water.Like I said, the concept of this system is great and I really like it a lot. It makes quick work of mopping large areas. I seriously doubt this unit would stand up to daily use. That would be possible if they used metal, rather than plastic parts. The price is a bit high in my opinion, considering the fact that it is plastic and cheap metal. I still really like it, but someone could do this with more robust engineering.

Not good
One month in, it is already liking the water around the water pump.
