Rider DUNAS II N Men's Sandals

Great sandals. Typically a pair a flip flops will not last the summer for me. I usually wear out a pair of tennis shoes in no more than 6 months. So any shoe or sandal that lasts half a year for me is generally OK in my book. These actually surprised me. Not only are they MUCH more comfortable than the typical foam flip flop, they are actually holding up better than my high dollar boots. Color me impressed. I purchased these in July of 2016 and I still wear them daily. Spring, summer, fall and Winter. They sit in my garage and anytime I need to go outside I slip them on and off I go. Now as another review said, there is no arch support but then what sandals do. I have flat feet so this is acutally a good thing for me. Nearly 2 years and still in great condition. I just bought another pair as I like them so much and have been expecting them to fail for nearly a year now and want to make sure I can still get them. Now that I said that they will crap out but hey I got nearly 3x the life I expected and still going. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

So I never leave reviews. Ever, but I feel I have to on these because I bought them due to the good reviews.Out of the box they look good, I ordered a size large like everyone suggested and they fit. They even feel comfortable.So what's the problem? It has been exactly two months since I got them, (May 14th) and they are shredded. Absolutely destroyed. Now I told myself, maybe you're just rough on your flip flops? Maybe it's because you wear them down to the river and on some of the lighter trails. But then I look at my girlfriend's five dollar flip flops she got at the grocery store and they are doing fine.We even had the discussion on why spend more? And I said for the quality. Sadly I was mistaken. The main problem here is that the thong is attached to an upper layer of fabric which is glued to the actual sole. So the only thing attaching the thong to the soul really is a bit of glue, which obviously hasn't held up.I've had flip flops last me four years or more. These are greatly disappointing. Rider is already well known for their excellent line of sandals. The Dunas II thong sandal is (according to Rider's website) their best-selling model of men's sandals. And I would have to agree with that. The material is of quality build, and it feels very comfortable on your feet. The Dunas II has the "egg-crate" shape of padding on the insole, which I prefer over the other Dunas models. Go look at the reviews of the so-called "newer" Rider Dunas models like the Dunas V and the Dunas VII. Do they even get half the rave reviews or the sales that the Dunas II gets? Nope! Even though this Dunas II model is now more than a couple years old, it is still the hands-down favorite of many Rider fans. I truly hope they do not discontinue this exact model (Dunas II N) any time soon.One more thing, as stated by many other reviewers, the Dunas II mens sandal makes an excellent gift for friends or family.

I am replacing two year old cheap-o beach store sandals with these, as I have Plantar Fasciitis, and have abnormally high arches. Let me say, these are the most comfortable sandals/flip flops I've ever worn. The soft insoles provide excellent comfort and support for my achey feet, and the strap is of high quality and is very comfortable. Too many times, other sandals cut into your feet and eat away at the webbing between your toes, but these sandals are a thousand times more comfortable in that regard. I have worn these as much as 12 hours straight with no aches, pains or cuts. If you have arch issues with your feet, these might end up being your saving grace!

I have worn these sandals for not even two weeks with normal use. I would say the sandal is ok for comfort and as of now the toe strap seems ok, and that is always the weak point on these shows. When they are wet, they are squeaky. And there are many sandals that don't have that problem. I work in the yachting business and sandals are key. So a good pair makes the difference! These I would never buy again. The bottom tread is very cheap looking. My reason for such a low score is because the paint has totally fallen apart!?!? Pretty cheap and lame. In the pictures on here if you look close near the toe, the paint actually looks cheap over sprayed, It made me nervous but gave the chance anyways... Look, I should've gone with my gut. There are a lot of cool comfy looking sandals out there. I'd say keep looking!

I have owned these a few weeks now and have really enjoyed them. I’ve used them just around the house and for a few walks around the neighborhood between 2 and 5 miles. They seem very well made and durable. I’ve been most impressed at how comfortable they’ve been since the first time I put them on, not much breaking in required. The straps across the top of the foot are comfortable and have never rubbed or been uncomfortable. The sole under the foot is well cushioned and also like every other part of the flip flop is very comfortable.This was a very good purchase and I would highly recommend these flip flops to others. I’ve historically had a hard time finding comfortable flip flops that hold up. As long as these continue to be as durable, I would purchase them again if needed.

Of all the brands and models of sandals even by this same company this is the one style that I will purchase every single summer. I've been wearing these for three and a half years and they are perfect. Instead of being made out of that cheap foam, they only have the foam on the inside for comfort but the rest is made out of durable rubber so they will literally last you a few years if you don't want to replace them every year. They are so comfortable I don't even realize I have them on sometimes. And they aren't loud and don't make that clapping sound like old-school flip flops did.

These are the best sandals I have ever owned. I live in the sun so I wear them all year round. You will not be disappointed since they hold their shape all season. Bought both colors.

I bought a pair of these years ago and they were the nicest sandals for comfort and long wear. So it was a great surprise when I was able to source the exact brand again. They fit exactly like my old ones and are just as comfortable. The cup shaped heel keeps your foot aligned on the sandal so they wear evenly. I wear a 9.5 shoe and these are an 11 which gives me room at the toe and the heel which I prefer when wearing sandals.

sandals did not last one entire summer as toe connector fell apart, could not return them as i exceeded the date by a week.. disappointing..

I had this exact pair once before, and I got this second one because I liked them. In less than a week they have started to fall apart this time.

Awesome love the make and brand, I used my first pair for nearly 6 years only drawback is if you get them wet too much the inner threadings weaken and the slipper splits out
