It is one of the best gta games of the series.Its graphics as compared to gta 5 are low....but that's obvious as gta 4 was released way back in 2008.But as far as the storyline is concerned...it has the best storyline in the entire gta series.It is at par with gta vice city! The product was delivered on proper time and in proper condition by amazon.Very satisfied with the product!😎✌🏻

Giving it 5 stars but one thing to mention is that ive recieved a damaged product but ive installed this game to my hard disk so its working fine..for me by the way great game!

Good game for entertainment graphics are not the best but good for a 2008 game controls are a. Little dim when compared to gta 5 but if you already played gta 5 you can then go for this.

The short answer to this question is no. Whilst there is always room for improvement in a game, you just can't fault R* for their choices in developing this game no matter how hard you try. The lead character Niko Belic is arguably the greatest protagonist a computer game's ever had. People naturally point to the actual character himself as a way of justifying this type of praise, but equal credit for this fantastic character goes to the actual depth of the game itself. Niko has been - as with EVERYTHING else in this game - generously fleshed out. Its not just that he's such a cool guy, which he is, its that he says so much, he does so much, he's involved in so much. Everyone knows the main thing wrong in previous GTA games was some aspects of the gameplay which were incredibly simple and outdated. Its all very well flying a harrier,mowing cops down with a combine harvester or owning a scarface type mansion. But the simple things like shooting and driving in the previous GTA games were, well, a little lacking to say the least. Half the time there was no rhyme nor reason to your death, other than bad luck because of the aiming system. With GTAIV however, both the driving and the shooting has had a complete overhaul - you are in complete control. The cars are alot more realistic which will put off some of the lesser skilled gamers - go play tetris for the rest of your life if you can't adapt to it I say! The shooting in the game has taken heed from titles such as Gears of War in that it employs a cover system so that you can judge when to shoot the enemy depending on a number of factors. Both these areas of development improve the game immersurably & add some much needed substance to the franchise. Also, you now have a customisable mobile phone which you are free to use to contact anyone you've phoned throughout the game, this is useful in so many ways, mostly for arranging leisure activities such as shooting pool, bowling, going to a strip club or taking one of your many girlfriends out for a meal. Taking your friends and associates out gifts Niko with different assets depending on the NPC, these range from a colleague who'll meet you anywhere at anytime to sell you guns, to a girlfriend who will help get the cops off your back in those more lairy GTA moments. The leisure side of things is a welcome relief from the constant slog of doing missions, its nice to inwind & go watch a comedy show or play some pool from time to time - or why not go home and watch tv in your safehouse? Thats right - you can watch tv too! The missions are generally the same as the GTA games before, although they do seem more original than they actually are due to the new shooting/driving system. Lastly i'll mention the quality of the other characters in the game. I've never seen a cast of characters like this in a game, or anywhere close. Almost as commendable as the improved gameplay is the dialogue & characterisation. You will really feel like you're taking part in a (top quality) hollywood picture on more than one occasion, due in no small part to the superb scriptwriting. The only negative thoughts i've dared conjour up during my GTAIV experience so far has been, "what have I done to deserve this fantastic game" & "I almost don't want to play anymore as it will make the game end sooner". It really is just too much, and too good.

I've only managed to play this game for about 3 hours so far last night but I'm very impressed with everything I've done and seen. There are lots of things to get used to which are different from previous GTA games. I've read other reviews on here about people who hate the driving style and I'll admit, it takes a bit of getting used to but it's much more realistic that it's predecessors, requiring you to think more ahead when driving at speed and I've been able to avoid 2 police chases so far without much difficulty. I think, as in real life, some cars handle better than others and I found a car which looks like an M3 that handles really well. The behaviour of the people in Liberty City is great, behaving as you would expect people to rather than one dimensional cannon fodder. They get scared if they see you carrying a gun, they run for cover if you are firing near them. If you crash into someone while driving, they may get out and try to start a fight with you rather than fleeing at the speed of sound as in previous GTA games. I crossed the street early in the game expecting a cab coming around the corner to stop on a six pence (like previous games), but instead he hit my character. The driver then got out and started swearing at my guy, so after a short fist fight I acquired a few dollars and a cab to drive around in. It took me a few goes to get used to the combat system. The targeting system is a significant improvement as is using cover but I can't get used to having a separate button for melee attacks, keep hitting the fire button to punch people. The whole block/counter attack system seems needlessly complicated at this point, but I'm sure we will all get used to it. The cut scenes are excellent and it feels like a proper story is evolving but I'd recommend turning on the subtitles as the heavy accents of the some of the characters can mean you miss some of the things they say. I'm also impressed with using mobile phone as a way to kick start missions and stay in contact with characters as a way to gain access to extra abilities. I love the graphics, which are better than I expected. There are some fuzzy light effects which put me off at first and the way it is properly dark at night can take some getting used to but I think it looks a whole lot more polished and less cartoony now. The sound effects are spot on but I'm a little disappointed with some of the radio stations so far. I used to love the talk radio of the last 3 games but so far the new one hasn't made me laugh as much. Having a TV in your apartment to watch the shows is a nice evolution of the radio station content however. I'd like to see some additional radio station material available for download in the future and I'm hoping I can add custom music tracks to listen to (as in the previous games), which I'm sure is there but haven't checked for yet. I also haven't played the multiplayer mode yet but it does sound very good and I'm sure I'll enjoy playing it. The interface sounds a lot like the one I've been using with the most recent Burnout game, where you can jump right in from the single player game. There are lots of excellent little touches so far, an excellent story and I'm sure the game will continue to show off as I progress to the other islands and harder missions. If you liked the previous GTA games and are willing to accept that some game play aspects will present new challenges, you will not be disappointed.
