The illustrated checklists are phenomenal tools to use with students to promote the independent application of writing skills and strategies.

Very helpful. Assessing writing has always been a challenge for me, but this has helped me become more focused and because of that more deliberate in my instructional planning. I will be talking to my administration about purchasing the resources that go with this book.
