A lost gem from a master!
This lost novel by Edward Lee (originally released under a pen name) is unmistakeably his. Besides his writing style, we have the door knocker with no mouth, possessed lusty ladies, and an appearance by recurring character Jack Cordesman. According to his website, Zebra (the original publisher) forced him to use a pen name because of low sales on his earlier titles. It is a shame, because I'm sure many fans missed out on this one. While by no means as hardcore as later works, Sacrifice has plenty of eroticism and creepiness. Don't buy this expecting Header, but any fans of the entirety of Mr. Lee's career will welcome another installment of his early '90's paperback originals. I'm glad it is available again and urge others to give it a shot! 4 stars!

Don't Give Up on It!
This being Edward Lee's first book, it doesn't grab you by the throat like the others, but don't give up on it. The payoff will come, I assure you, the climax a perfect combination of story, visceral imagery, and grue.

A WEIRD TALE OF SOME WEIRD STUFF IT IS.
Hello, this story was O.K. It seemed to go on forever and nowhere at the same time. I wish Mr. Lee would revisit HELL again so he could keep us folks excited about his next books. Thanks.

Edward Lee is like Viagra for horror
Edward Lee is like Viagra for horror. You can abuse it or be a gentleman about it but it's always a great result. Purchase this.
