I haven't used an amino acid for some years, and this is the first powdered form I've ever used. I do know, though, that the positive effects of any amino acid product -- improved muscle mass -- does take quite a while of consistent use to kick in. All of which is to say that at the point of this writing I can give only a limited assessment of this one's effectiveness in improving muscularity. What I can say about Metatriton Bcaa powder is that it's composition of standard amino acids seems similar to that of others on the market, as is its dosage. There are a issues regarding it, however, that deserve mention. It doesn't dissolve especially quickly or easily in water. This can be solved if you want to carry around one of those large shaker cups with you. And it tastes pretty bad, quite bitter and unpleasant when consumed by itself. This, too, can be gotten around if and when you mix it with other, flavored products; I often use a dose with my flavored pre-workout product. It can also be used with a protein shake or a post-workout supplement for those who also use those products. If you don't mind these considerations then this could be a good product for you.

My pee was bright yellow, so must have been working

I really love this formula and noticed an immediate difference when I started taking them. Most vitamins cause an upset stomach for me and has led me to discontinue quite a few supplements while these did not. It is a good formula but I can't tolerate the recommended dosage of 6 capsules per day, even spreading them out. Right now, I am taking 3 per day, two in the morning and one in the afternoon. There is a bit of caffeine in these, so if you take them at night, your sleep may be the best unless you can tolerate it. I don't think I have ever had a supplement actually make me feel better but this one does. The micronutrients really make a difference in my body since they are actually absorbed easier. I worked for a doctor and he always recommended take a vitamin / mineral supplement but said if your urine color is a dark yellow, you probably don't need as a high dose as you think. Most of those nutrients are just going down the drain. I think this is a benefit to these vitamins since I can adjust the dose to get just what I need.

Didn’t work that well

Great formula. Ingredients fail to list any wheat, rye, barley, or gluten containing ingredients. Biotin is listed. Most sources of biotin contain gluten. There is no mention of being dairy free, hormone free, or USDA organic. I made the mistake of buying these without researching the ingredients more closely. There is also no mention that the ingredients are not sourced from China. Buyer beware.

My husband and I have been looking for a replacement for a vitamin we used to take years ago called Vitalert. Unfortunately, they quit making it years ago. In comes Metatrition! A high potency multivitamin that really does the trick of giving you more energy and focus to make it through the day! I'm so glad I will no longer have to buy thirty different bottles and take up to 70 supplements every single day! This is really a vitamin to beat all other vitamins. My initial test of any supplement is looking at what form the B12 comes in, if it's not methylcobalamin, I pass! Anyone with horrible fatigue might have problems with B12 absorption, something I've struggled with for years. Methylcobalamin doesn't need to be converted, so it's readily available or bioavailable. Metatrition has 200 mcg, which is 3333% of the RDA which sounds like a lot but for people with absorption issues, it's not. I usually take 1500 - 5000 mcg per day. I LOVE that Metatrition has AyurVerdic herb complex. Ayurvedic herbs are adaptogens, which work on those things in the body that need help. They've been used successfully for thousands of years and our family has used them for approximately two decades with excellent success. There's also a "Cell Resilience" blend made up of various super foods, including green tea extract. There's also a Trikatu blend that helps with digestion and metabolism. Several minerals round out this potent vitamin formula for a real kick to get you up and moving in the morning! (no jitters though, just a genuine energy boost). The capsules are pretty small, very easy to swallow, and don't repeat if you happen to belch. You're instructed to take 6 predatory, which I do because of chronic fatigue but my husband found that 4 percent day was ideal for him. Very highly recommended!
