I bought this Milk Thistle tea after having seen a YouTube video that it can help with inflammatory cystic acne. I do use 2 tea bags at one time, in order to maximize benefits. Maybe it’s just coincidence, but my face is definitely clearer when I wake up the next morning after having had a cup of Milk Thistle tea at bedtime the night before. I will be purchasing again!One week follow-up:I’ve been doing two of these teabags every evening and my inflammatory cystic acne has been decreased by over 50% and is finally started to heal. I just ordered 3 more boxes! A MIRACLE for me personally!I have had to use TWO tea bags at one time to get the skin-clearing benefit. I did try to cut it down to just one, and I could tell it was not enough becauseI was fighting small breakouts again. BUT this treatment is safe and I am willing to pay for two tea bags per day if that is what it takes

Milk Thistle is right for my blood type.

I tried another cheaper brand of Milk Thistle tea a few years back and was completely underwhelmed by the flavor then eventually noticed LIVE bugs crawling within the tea bags! Again, this was another brand.Anyway, for the past year or so I've been drinking a mug of Bay Leaf tea after dinner every night (near-boiling water, a couple of Bay leaves, and a sweetener packet). It dawned on me that I should try dropping a Milk Thistle tea bag in with it and searched Amazon to find another brand.I feel that this Buddha brand is a step up from my previous brand because each tea bag is in an individual foil packet. I also store it in the freezer just to be safe. After steeping for 15-20 minutes, the flavors of the Milk Thistle tea bags combined with the Bay Leaves are exactly what I needed for the perfect mug of after-dinner tea!

Be warned before you buy this --Milk Thistle in tea form is not not water soluble when heated. Silymarin is the active compound that helps with the liver, it's not bioavailable in this form so you will not reap any benefit from the tea. I have been buying this brand for over a year, went through lots of boxes of this stuff to find out I just wasted my money and I should have been buying the milk thistle extract in the capsule form instead. I did my research but with that said, it's not a bad tasting tea. it's good to add to to other teas as well like green tea, dandelion etc. It's just not going to anything for you in the health department. Go for the extract instead.

I have been buying it for years and enjoy it every night before bed for liver support.It's very easy to drink it even without sugar.
