I love this, love the variety pack, and honestly compared to store pricing of similar command hooks I was surprised at how much actually comes in the kit. They hold well, my only critique is that the larger velcro type claims to hold over ten lbs and I used two pairs to try to put up a fairly large picture but it almost immediately fell off of the wall, so maybe stick to things 5lbs and under for those. Overall, great buy.

This kit comes with 14 hooks in a variety of sizes to support a range of items up to 5lbs. Command strips are also not new and over time, 3M has certainly tweaked and refined their adhesive to ensure a firm hold by weight (just be sure not to exceed the weight by too large a margin.) Installation is super easy and so is removal. The only notable I have really is that the strips don't perform very well on paper-finished surfaces. This is not the fault of the product, it's just one of it's weaknesses of adhesives and paper in general; the paper fibers are torn from the surface, but they do stick to the strips. The hooks are reusable as well, and you can buy the adhesives strips alone. This kit comes with 10 hanging strips, which is 2 more than the 8 hanging hooks in this kit. The adhesives strips are priced based on size (length) and the weight it can handle (strength of adhesive.) and prices can range anywhere from 46¢ to 96¢ apiece based on pack size. Overall, 3M makes some great adhesive products for home and office use. From tapes to post-it notes to these hanging strips. They're well established, and they're trusted to make quality products. For this reason, they are the standard by which I compare others. The good news is that when items are relatively inexpensive, there's no need to shop around for a competitor with a similar product at a discounted price. This variety pack retails for $21, but currently (at the time of this posting), is on sale for $12 (43% off!) making it about 86¢ per hook and a great deal.
