Matte screen protector, easy application, might ruin the 3D
EDIT: I've changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars. I'll add my reasons at the bottom.===ORIGINAL REVIEW===I'm not very experienced at applying screen protectors, so I was a bit nervous about messing this up. I've only ever done this one other time and that was with a different brand and a DSLite, I was only able to get one screen on for that as I completely screwed up the other. That being said, I was able to nail both of my New 3DS screens with one try! The application is very easy, I got the matte screen protector. Here are some tips:1) The protector is not the exact size of the screen. This may be kind of obvious once you put it on but it becomes less obvious when you're actually using it. For the best result though, do not line it up right against the edges of the screen, try to evenly space it from all sides before peeling off the 1st layer and applying it.2) When applying it to the screen, go somewhat slowly and use the card as you go, don't just put it all on and use the card after. This way is much better because if you see that there's still dirt on the screen you can still lift it back up a tiny bit and try to clean it. This is much easier than trying to lift the screen up once you've already applied it (which can be done by using the adhesive blue or red tabs on the corners of the screen, doesn't really work a lot of the time though, so best bet is be careful and get it right the first time). Going slowly also helps you stop and go back in case you put the screen on unevenly or crooked.3) Make sure the screen is as clean as possible before attempting to apply. They give you a cloth so make sure you wipe that screen and blow any dirt you can off of it. If you put the screen on and realize there's still dirt on while applying it, peel it back slightly and try to get it off. If a speck of dirt gets on the bottom side of the protector, try to get it off using the corner of the card, I was able to save mine this way.Really good screen protector, and now I've got two extra protectors! (it comes with 3 for both screens)===EDITED REVIEW===After having these protectors for a week or so, I started noticing that when the 3D was on, some games would have double images (referred to as "ghosting" by many). This was distracting and concerning, I have the new 3DS which is supposed to have even better functionality than the old one, was mine defective? I didn't notice this effect before I put my screen protector on. I'd seen people talk about this before so I searched around and tried a bunch of different solutions. Nothing worked. My last option was to remove the top screen protector. I tried it and voila, no more ghosting. So now I have a protector on the bottom screen but nothing on the top. It sucks because I was initially so happy with these protectors. If you want to protect your 3ds and never actually use the 3D, then this is still a good protector. But if you want to enjoy the 3D to it's fullest, you're going to be paying for 3 bottom screen protectors. Again, this is the MATTE protector, as far as I know the glossy protector may not have these problems.

Matte is nice if you don't use 3D effect on max or play frequently in high glare conditions.
The product itself is very nice quality, except for a few things.1. The screen protectors for the "New 3DS XL" are about .75mm too small all the way around. (This doesn't bother me i'm just trying to be ale to use my 3DS outside and prevent the touch screen lip from scratching the top screen.)2. This is the nature of matte finish on the 3DS (which is why Nintendo probably didn't use matte screens) is that it distorts the 3D effect on the highest setting but can still be used on the lowest setting.Packaging was nice, the microfiber cloth works good and is equivalent difficulty to putting a protector on a smart phone.Extra installation techniques:The best way to do this is work on the kitchen counter after wiping it down with a wet cloth to pick up the dust. Turn off any ceiling fans or AC ducts that may be on where you are installing them. If you mess up the first one no sweat. You now have a sacrificial dust collector to use for the next one. You can use the scrapped screen protector to static cling any hard to pick up dust that you keep smearing with the cloth.

Useless screen protectors
I've read several reviews claiming how easy it was to apply this screen protector and well I don't know if it was just me but I managed to go through all three sets of screens they sent you and only ONE managed to come out right (and it was only the bottom screen protector, I have no protector on the top screen EDIT I have taken off the screen protector for the bottom screen, see below). I've never written a negative review before but I gotta say I am very dissatisfied with this product. The three biggest problems I have with these screen protectors is:1: The application process itself. There are two sets of "protective films" that adhere to the screen sandwiching the actual screen protector in the middle. You take the bottom portion off first, apply it to the 3DS, and then after removing air bubbles from the screen (using a nifty plastic card that comes included) you simply remove the top protective film. Each "protective film" has two giant stickers that clearly label which one you remove first. Sounds simple, right? HOWEVER it's the stickers that indicate which screen is which that really messed me up. The stickers stick out over the side like tabs which interferes when you're trying to align the protector to your device. When trying to apply it, I found myself consistently missing the screen entirely where the little sticker tab is because you can't see behind the thing! This in turn made me reapply the screens which would cause tiny pieces of dust to get caught on the screen protector (and thus creating air bubbles you can't remove). The tabs should not stick out off of the protective screen itself that way you can accurately apply the screen to your device without it overlapping and creating huge air bubbles underneath.2: The screen protectors are not accurately cut to fit the screens of my device. After applying the screens to my device there were gaps all around the screen protector and my device.3: After applying the screen protector to the bottom screen which is touch screen, I lost the ability to actually USE the touch screen! The touch screen became unresponsive to both the stylus, using my finger, and using the D-Pad. Which essentially made my 3DS useless.I haven't used any other screen protectors but I would recommend trying another brand if you're looking to buy a screen protector for your 3DS.

Good screens
Nice screens which are easy to put on. Best thing is I can use in garden or bright light worth the money.
