Hermle Antique Style Lantern Table Clock with Hour Strike 23004-000711

Love this item

This is a beautiful mechanical clock. The ticking sound is noticeable but not annoying, and the hourly bell is pleasant. Note that the back of the clock does have a keyhole-shaped opening that would allow for wall mounting, although this is clearly meant to be a table or mantel clock. I decided to place it under a glass dome to protect the exposed mechanism from dust. Instead of the expensive domes I've seen online, I went to a hobby/craft supply store and purchased an extra-large (8x12") glass dome and matching wooden base for about $21 total. This works great, although the dome is a bit too tall, so I'm looking for a pedestal of some kind to place under the clock so that it will be better centered top-to-bottom. The ticking and bell are still nicely audible through the dome. The price I paid for the clock on Amazon was about $50 less than I've seen anywhere else for the same clock. It is clearly brand new, in the correct factory packaging with the documentation. A great buy, I've very happy with it.

El reloj es hermoso pero se atrasa constantemente. Solo es un adorno y no tiene funcionalidad. Pensé en devolverlo pero se me cerró la ventana de devolución. No lo recomiendo, es mala compra.

Do not forget to remove the weight spring that secure the weight to its stem for transport. If not time wil not line up

Orologio molto bello, dopo un paio di aggiustamenti del pendolo, seguendo le istruzioni, è risultato assolutamente preciso. Molto gradevole (non disturba nelle ore notturne) il rintocco dell'ora.
