HC Collection Bed Skirt King Size, Soft Microfiber Box Spring Cover, 14" Inch Drop King Bed Skirt, Wrinkle & Fade Resistent - Cream

I bought this for my son's full-size bed. The length and overall size were perfect and have his bedroom looking more put together. I went with a neutral tan color. The color was true to the photos, the fabric washed up nicely with minimal wrinkles, it appears well made. My son has 2 cats that love to sleep on his bed and I am happy to say that after a few months of having the bed skirt, the fabric is not a fur magnet, like some cheaper fabrics can be.

This is very thin material and you do not, do not want to iron the white part at all, for any reason. It is so paper thin, the coolest iron setting melts it immediately. Don’t even let your iron get near it. I was ironing the skirt itself and the tip of the iron barely touched the white part. It immediately melted all over the tip of my iron. The manufacturer needs to make a big note. Even the coolest setting on your iron will melt the material in the middle. Do not Iron. An update and two patches later: After having the second patch sewn on the white part, I VERY carefully ironed the wrinkled bedskirt on the very lowest setting on our iron. The skirt portion ironed nicely for me. I installed it on our bed and it looks good. It is very thin and it’s very inexpensive. We have a thicker white bedskirt behind it but I wanted a specific color and this skirt was the color, Sage. We have a mattress that will not lift up all the way so I needed to cut the middle, white part out, leaving a border around the edge of the top of the skirt to tack it into the lower mattress. All in all, I would say that I am happy with the look, the outcome, for the price. I am also very glad that we have a thicker bedskirt supporting it, behind it. If you don’t mind a thin bedskirt on its own, this is a good purchase, especially for the price. The bedskirt part of the material ironed up very nicely for me— on the lowest temperature of the iron.

Tl;dr—Would I buy it again? Maybe, but only because I’m on a budget right now. The good: The appearance is nice. The color is very strong—not faded-looking or lightly saturated. The length is correctly advertised. It definitely added the finishing touch my bed needed. The bad: The material is extremely light-weight and has a lot of friction. What this means is that when I lift my mattress to replace the fitted sheet it’s impossible not to pick up the bed skirt along with it and that immediately gets in the way, since the bedskirt doesn’t have anything to tie itself down to the mattress. It’s bad enough that I bought some zip ties to secure the bedskirt, which is an okay workaround, except that I don’t know what I’ll do when it comes time to wash it. It also DOES NOT look like the picture. It looks good, and the color was accurate, but it does not have the classy, flat, pleated look that’s advertised. Not a big deal to me personally, but it might matter to someone and is a bit disappointing.

Everything about this product is wrong and disappointing. I consider it false advertising. I purchase two of these beds skirts, one white, one gray. Both king size. I didn’t bother to open the white one after what I experience with the gray one. If there was a way to give them zero stars I would’ve. They were both delivered at the same time today. The gray one came properly packaged. The white one was in the original plastic packaging with the shipping label pasted on top of it. In other words, it was not put in a packaging bag so everyone could see what I ordered. Very unhappy with this. The bed skirts are supposed to be from an HC Collection. What I received is from some Platinum 00 ??Collection??. I can’t read the whole name because most of it is rubbed off. These bedskirts are not made in USA as The advertisement indicated, they are made in Indonesia. These product is a total deception not at all as described. The material is not wrinkle free not wrinkle resistant on the contrary by looking at them you would think you bought a box full of wrinkles than a bed skirt. No matter how much you iron it, wrinkles don’t go away. The white material that attaches to the gray tears very easy if not careful also melts if the iron touches it. The stitching is as a five-year old did the sewing. The material is very thin with no thickness to it, very sheer and doesn’t have any weight to it. Overall the product is a piece of junk.Very dissatisfied. I would’ve showed some photos but have difficult loading them to amazon. Don’t waste your money. I don’t recommend this product.

This was not an expensive bed skirt. Once I got it on the bed, it actually hangs really nicely and is exactly the right length for my bed. I had to iron it before I put it on, but it was very easy to iron and has maintained a nice soft, but tailored look for my bed.

Perfect color, wasn't quite wrinkle-free once received (not surprised, really), but I expect it will be once It's on the bed. Completely happy with it.

I was of the understanding that it was one that covered the whole bed under the mattress like a sheet, not with elastic at one end. It was somehow dirty even though it was in a plastic bag??? I gave it away to an Op shop.
