Leaks, leaks, and more leaks
Started leaking from the middle filter housing after a couple of months. After several failed attempts to fix the issue tech support sent out a complete filter housing. Had to pull filters 4-6 off to replace the bad one, what could possibly go wrong. Found the new housing was different and used a larger O-ring than the original, not a big issue just have to remember if I’m ever replacing O-rings. Housing didn’t leak when we turned the water on but , the rear fitting leaked on me. Basically had to disassemble the whole thing to redo the fitting. Upon reassembly, the fitting in the front started leaking, after disassembling and reassembling everything again, no leaks! A few days goes by and the original issue started again. Water was everywhere. I asked for a refund at that point. Since I had the unit for more than a couple of months they wouldn’t give me all my money back, SMH.Also, noticed when I was disassembling the old unit to discard, they had used a ton of Teflon tape and actual silicone on the fittings in the housing. Never seen that before. My original reverse osmosis was almost 20 years old had little to no issues. Decided to replace it when the storage tank failed. Spend a little extra money get something made in America.

Great !
Easy to install and works great. Water tastes so much better than my plain tap water. Excellent water for house plants as well.

Filter works fine. Experience working under the sink helps!
The filter unit is fine. These all use the same standard components - there is no mystery. The assembly was done correctly and is leak free.A few notes / observations:- Working under the sink can be a real pain!- The faucet has a trim ring around the bottom that is 1 1/2 " - the same size as the already existing hole in my sink. I had to buy a trim ring to put under it to keep it from falling through.- You should put the teflon tape around the end of the pipe threads before you try to assemble it - the nut that tightens it against the washer pack / sink bottom will thread on past the teflon and not damage it.- I taped together the rubber washer, the plastic washer and the lock washer. This made it much easier to reach up under and behind the sink with one hand and get everything on the feed pipe. Tightening the nut without a basin wrench sucks. I did it with some small vice grips, but I am experienced with this sort of thing. Working under the sink sucks....- The drain saddle works, but the plastic threads on mine that tighten the compression fitting were poorly molded. I had to fool with it a bit to get it together properly. I easily made a suitable hole in my plastic sink drain tailpiece by twisting the tip of a pocket knife. No drill required - PVC is very soft!- You should NOT apply gorilla force to plastic threads. I just gave the filter housings and the supply line adapter gentle snugs. No leaks!- Don't put teflon tape on connections with O rings. You only need it for the faucet and the adapter fitting for the supply line if you use it.- I lubed the filter housing threads and O rings with a paper towel that had a bit of veg oil on it. A very light coat makes it go together easily, and come apart again more easily in a year when you want to change the filters.- Leave yourself enough slack in the lines to pull the assembly to the front of the cabinet so you can change the filters without having to disconnect the lines.- Make sure you push the hoses into the fittings all the way - almost 1/2 inch. Wiggle and jiggle while you push. Then test them by giving them a tug. Then push, wiggle and jiggle some more. Then put on the locking clip.- The instructions say you have to use the bracket to hang it, and that you can't just stand it on the filter housings. That's just... nonsense. If you live where there are earthquakes, you should probably fasten it somehow. It would even work laying on its side if you wanted.- The instructions mention sterilizing it by dripping bit of bleach in the supply line. This is unnecessary, and will not work - the carbon filters will just capture the bleach - a total waste. Wipe the insides of the housings with some bleach water first if you must. This sounds like more 'lawyer proofing' to me.

Quick service great value.
Im not sure what sheerness has to do with my water system its not panty hose.I like the large standard size filters i mounted my system in a basement under the kitchen so space was not an issue. Having said that the way the filters are mounted on the steel frame it only takes up a few cubic inches more space than the compact unit I replacedThis is a Chinese made product. But when shopping this product I found most vendors outsource their filters. The company has a mostly local representative.I was missing an o ring in one of my components an email sent at 8pm had a response before noon the next day with a direct number to call as I had given a detailed description of what was wrong the rep ordered my replacement part before i even called. I had it in my hands the next business day.I am very pleased with my filter system.I recommend this product and this vendor.
