Wore it twice. The "Leather" started peeling off after two days. What the actual hell?

Cheap thin color layer that scratches easily.
The color scrapes off easily with any type of abrasion. After ever were I end up with a scuff where the buckle makes contact with the face of the belt and scrapes off a bit of the color revealing a white under-layer.

I am a 32 waist. I read a review that said to buy large. I bought a 34. Its a little big. I have it as tight as it'll go and it's not snug. I would have bought a 32.
